Liverpool have shown they can defend very well. Which is a start I guess. I think KK will get another season to build on this defence with the right balance of attack so we start scoring more goals.

game was scrappy we looked composed in possession, knocked it around well, defended well, but never looked like scoring a goal, apart from when bale was clean through and knocked a backpass back to reina.
Liverpool upped the tempo and the pressure second half, when we were just gifting the ball back, without trying to construct anything. Missing VDV and a ball playing midfielder hurt us. Modric was his usual tidy self, and Parker and Livermore, were solid. Parker especially was his all action self.

Just lacked bite upfield. We set ourselves up not to get beat, and we didn't but thought we had more about us to really get in there and unsettle liverpool. But can't really complain. Kept pace with the leaders, held the gap to those behind so keep calm and carry on.
