Its Ok, if Arry gets banged up Martin Jol will come home and save us, probably taking us to the title, before an era of dominace both at home and in Europe.
Eather that or Martin Jol will come home and Tom Huddelstone will get fat again.
Dyslexia and Schizoprenia....Poor poor Pinky :(

He puts that away we're full steam ahead for a title challenge, confidence kicks on and we roll into this murderers row of a fixture list with a bounce in our step
yep
First half was okay, lots of pretty football, but no real chances, couple of half ones, scrambled defense, but nothing dangerous. Didn't feel we were outplayed or overawed, at times we looked the home side.
first half was boring. very little pretty football. but i'll take boring and uneventful when you're away to a team that's top of the league, unbeaten at home and with their GD this season. friedel made one good foot-save and they missed one wide but not much goal mouth action for 45 minutes.
bale far too central first half and noone else filling in for him on the left
Can see heads going down, typical spurs.
when they scored two in a row like that i thought we were gonna roll over like we did at home. very proud of them for fighting back
Then bale scores a peach of a goal, and it's end to end, but with bales pace torturing the city defense it looks like only one teams going to kick on and win it. The. The Defoe miss. Fuck me he got sucked in by bales slow then dip of the shoulder and push on he gas. If he anticipates he scores, even then he misses by a fraction.
^this. didn't show on MotD but from 2-2 til the penalty we were definitely the side on top. bale much more effective when not trying to play tevez role.
and i thought we'd won it when bale crossed at the end and defoe was in the danger area. coming back from 2-0 down to win that late in the game would've been immense. and to draw level on points. AAARGH!Chance is gone. 4mins of extra time and king who alongside Kaboul has looked solid all game takes away balotelli's legs, who could have been sent off for his step on Parker, which for the record I saw as accidental, but what do I know. Takes the pen and we've just shot ourselves in the foot.
yep. balls-up by king. first mistake was letting him get goalside like that in the first place. gutted to see that from a man whose positioning is normally second to none.
i didn't see the stamp at all at the time, not until MotD. it was too far from the away stand to make it out. got to say it looks intentional to me on tv, not a natural way to put your foot down when landing.

absolute guarantee that post 50,000 would be when some of us were actually working. Jesus Christ Mike I bet you'll be posting, wittering on about Liverpool endlessly through the next international break instead of getting laid...again

Nice one Si, cementing your reputation as possibly the only decent Spurs fan on the planet.

• #49966
so if / when harry goes down is there a bit of bird waiting for him ? or will his dog be doing the time
will he have to give up the spurs job and forgo the england role ?
or will the fa just gloss over a silly mistake and let him carry on as normal ? -

or will the fa just gloss over a silly mistake and let him carry on as normal ?If guilty he'll probably get a few months. He can hardly go on to manage England when he's been found guilty of attempting to defraud every single person in the country.
Most companies weould also feel obliged to sack a high profile employee who was sent to prison, but this is Spurs we're talking about....

Looks like Balotelli will miss the Liverpool game, unless City are foolish enough to appeal
A bit of a shame as he is clearly in the midst of some sort of psychological meltdown and would have been easy to wind him up enough to get him sent off -
• #49974
didn't his psychological meltdown start shortly after he was born ... like seconds after he was born
-
• #49975
Yeah but it is reaching a climax.
He will be posting on here soon
Looks even better here:
