Waste of talent != career ruined by injury. thats a bit harsh on a few players. Cole, Bentley, Mutu and Shevchenko all had the talent and no excuse other than piss poor attitude..

    Tevez???
Rooney will always be fighting his build and will one day be one of the best attacking midfielders in the country, in a year or so he will loose his pace and threat. Arshavin is out of position but take out the world cup and he wasn't ever prolific..

Amazed Walcott isn't on there, and Pennant. not to mention Beatie, Adebayor..

Rooney will be finished by 30, like Robbie Fowler he's a product of a small and poor gene pool, exacerbated by a shite lifestyle and diet.

That list seems to be mainly made up of shite players, who had a brief spell of top form then faded back to their normal state of being shite.

    ^This = Steven Ireland.

  • Interesting until this statement:

    He shaves, what of it?

  • So by 31 Rooney will be just spending his days playing with tyres hanging on rope... i can see that but think he will want to win something with England as Captain.. that wont happen for a while, and for that reason he will hang on in there, he is a big fella but doesn't have any real niggly injuries.

    Brilliant stuff mate.

He could play until he's a hundred and fucking fifty and he'll win fuck all with England*, or probably even captain them.

*Unless they bring back the Home Internationals.

  • that bleacher report was a waste of two minutes of my time, lumping those that had greatness, or excellences before they arrived in the premiership, with youth talent that was on the verge but through injury or attitude or whatever failed to live up to their potential is just lazy.
How can the man include Rooney in that list, because he's moved into midfield.
How can you waste your talent if injury stops you from performing as you know you can. Jansen, Dean Ashton, Hargreaves to name a few. And it's all just opinion, where's the FACTS! man.

Huddlestone isn't a waste of talent, he's just recovering from ankle surgery and has been pushed down the pecking order, because there is modric, parker and sandro ahead of him. How is struggling to return to the first team wasting your talent..

    Fuckwit..
