  • Like it or not lfc doesn't have a big rep of being a team that harrangs officials the way the united and chelsea do* and if it is the difference between getting nailed on penos and goals correctly being given then go ahead- as long as it doesn't permanently tarnish the club- like a certain madrid manager.

    • though everyone can find odd examples

Here's one - probably one of the most infamous incidents involving referees of recent times

  • Kopites in belching out deluded shite shocker... Quelle surprise...

Mata looked very good for us on Saturday and Anelka looked well sharp for an old man... Meireiles wants to sort that fucking barnet out tho' (no offence, Mike)... Looks like I'm gonna enjoy this season much more than I did the last...

  • Yes he does have terrible hair. He can't quite embrace his baldness so tried to hide it and fails

  • Torres blaming an older player in midfield that keeps hogging the ball. What a twat.

  • Fuck me, lot of uptight Kopites on here at the mo....Oh, Mike C & MG are back

  • Torres blaming an older player in midfield that keeps hogging the ball. What a twat.

Sat on the bench and watching loaned out player(Sturridge) net with ease

  • It's not as though we don't have a white elephant taking a big smelly dump...a £35M dump on the shag pile, is it? The media are scenting blood there, esp with Capello voicing his displeasure publically. But sir cunt face does it for different reasons?!? Tit.

Lets get things straight: I don't honestly believe there is a** conspiracy *specifically get LFC and anyone that buys into that is an idiot. BUT every game we've played in this season has had ludicrous decisions against us- not throw ins or fouls in the middle of the park but penalties and disallowed goals. Anyone see that pass back where the keeper just picked up? When you're winning it naturally doesn't get mentioned but when you have as one sided a game as the Stoke game and come away with nothing then it will be raised.

    • You aren't a neutral.
    • That ref was piss weak to have had his mind changed. But then the Eng-er-laand golden boys seem to have that power.

What's being a neutral or not gotta do with Kinky making a tit if himself. I'd like to say that there's prolly a few Kopites that cringed at his ramblings but sadly, they're all as bad as each other

What about Suarez's offside goal against Arsenal?

  • Not offside according to the rules

  • Meireles stats for the Sunderland game: 97 touches, 80 passes, 90% completion, 7 long balls, 2 through balls, 4 key passes, 4 interceptions. Not bad...

    Compared to Henderson or Adam?

  • I have Inverting...

Ah. How's it going? Better than Moneyball?

  • Compared to Henderson or Adam?

    Mwahahahahahahahaha....

I have said and I can keep on saying it until the end of time if you like. It was a massive mistake to sell him and I cannot understand why we did.

BTW what were Torres' stats like at the weekend?

  • came on for 15 minutes and did jack all. At least we can say he's consistent.

  • instead of asking has torres scored yet
we could revamp that to " has torres made it onto the pitch yet "
    poor lad
    ac milan want him though
you might get £10mn for him, for a loss that would keep the 3rd and 4th division clubs looking healthy for years to come

  • Bill I think Inverting and Moneyball are both mine. Are you like Mark and never venture into the city, or is there somewhere I can meet you to grab those back plus an interesting read off of you?

It's my copy of Inverting, but anywhere this week is good.

  • For the Kopites on here. Some food for thought on the second coming of Kenny.

  • real madrid after suarez
    do one mourihno >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Tuesday or Thursday then. PM on way.

(have you got something a bit nerdy, but interesting and sports based?)

  • This whole thing about Kenny to my mind was his was way of slagging off the ref's performance without getting sanctioned. Now it's out there he's not in trouble, we'll see if it makes a difference at spurs on sunday if anything contentious happens

  • Unfortunately true.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2028606/Graham-Poll-Luis-Suarez-offside.html

Much as the tone of the article suggests, a lot of the time Suarez would be called out for being offside.

So many players get called for being offside after a keeper parrys a long range shot, in the letter of the law, they should all be on side too, no?

not exactly news, we're in the process of rebuilding. What's your point?

The only thing I have remotely like that is the audiobook version of 'Why England Lose'. I can burn a CD of it, but audiobooks aren't to everyone's taste.

Otherwise it's the 'Anatomy of England', which, authored by Jonathan 'Brain the size of the solar system' Wilson, is by definition nerdy & sports based.
