http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/aug/18/redknapp-modric-sale-tottenham
and 'Arry says he's not a wheeler dealer. For the money he'd get for Modric, he'd get three or four players of the same class as the one's he's trying to shift. So we'd be no better off. No point in having a deep squad if none of those players can change a game, or aren't one of his favourites so won't be seeing the first eleven anytime soon...
It's as if he doesn't see that he's got to get rid to get in. And if Palacios, Bentley, Hutton, Jenas, Crouch don't want to go, he's going to have to make do and get the best out of them...
No to selling Modric. No I say...
Selling club... Fact

greasy I refer the bolshy arsenal gentleman to this statement
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jul/12/arsenal-cesc-fabregas-samir-nasri-arsene-wenger
Arsène Wenger has categorically ruled out the prospect of Samir Nasri leaving this summer, going so far as to suggest that Arsenal could not be considered a "big club" if they lost both the France midfielder and Cesc Fábregas.

At least he can look forward to adding to his World Cup medal now instead of languishing with the also-rans here.

Fielding is the difference this season, best goalie we've had since Poom. All those seasons wasted relying on Bywater, Carroll, Camp, Grant etc.
Hope Barnes doesn't decide to have his one good game of the season against us on saturday.

Fucking Bywater. What a whopper.
Fielding made an immense difference last year.

Subtle Liverpool dig as well. Oh Clive.

Pity we don't play Derby anymore.
By the way, please feel free to link to my article from any West brom site. Last season my pieces received more vitriolic comments from the supporters of other sides than any other pieces on the CSG site. I suspect that this was largely due to Pisti inviting Evertonians to flame it. For this I received a significant amount of kudos among some of the more extreme elements among Chelsea supporters. Keep it coming.

you can prove anything with stats and guardian articles. but the fact remains we had moved on and there was no place for Cesc in our sqaud.
By the looks of the classico Barca should have bought Diof, Nolan, Barton and Shawcross instead.

for charging you £50mn for a misfiring striker ?
I had high hopes for realcockhead but he failed to apply himself. Massive shame but still has a huge ego
