The worst last year was Ipswich Town.
The only shit thing about Palace was they ran out of beer before the game kicked off never mind at half time.
The worst of many shit things about Palace is the location.
And as if by magic

If you want to see first class football you will have to pay more than if watching a local amateur side.
i understand the free market economy. that's why i watch from the comfort of the effra. more chance of bumping into real chelsea fans there too...well Joe

let's not pretend this uefa financial self reliance thing has anything to do with it though clive. When Abram came in all those years ago did he use any of his money to help supporters? (genuine question as I don't know) not that he has to at all but it would be interesting if he has made any concessions to help supporters

went to the emirates tonight on my brother in law's season ticket( he's on holiday). I'm an Ipswich town fan myself and as a fan of a team going nowhere in a hurry, be assured that I am a genuine neutral.
This is the poorest Arsenal side I've seen for a very long time. Sagna played well but that was it. Aimless sideways tip tap passing in midfield, hopeless final ball and looked fragile at the back when Udinese were on the break. Arsenal will struggle to make 4th this year and may well still bow out of the champions league. Still, it could be worse: You could have got rolled over at home 5-2.

JET's scoring goals at least! :)
-
• #38837
JET could be an excellent player if he applies himself. I hear Wenger let him go because of his attitude. Hopefully he will avoid the Kieran Dyer roasting route. Ipswich is a hotbed for this kind of thing...:)...

UEFA to investigate Man City's " sponsorship deal " with ETIHAD or who ever it is
I predict a whitewash and some nice holidays in the Gulf for UEFA officials

Yes. Season ticket prices frozen for around five years was nice for a start. Renewal of season tickets now happens at the end of the season rather than at the Bates' cash flow crisis time of January. Tickets for cup games have been dropped to £25 and group stage CL games also cheaper. Programmes have not increased in price since his arrival. Chelsea TV is still the same price....and the list goes on.

Very muted atmosphere at the Emirates last night. The obivious faults from last season already showing themselves. Indecision, no who wanting to take the initiative and no leadership on the pitch. Hopefully will improve when RVP and Jack come back but we are going to be so reliant on Wilshere this season.
Thought Theo looked up for it and will be up to him to show he's now a senior player now with AOC and more youngsters looking to be more involved. We won and Udinese looked dangerous, but a better team would of cained us..A long season awaits -

Spurs don't need to sell Modric to raise funds.
They've needed to clear out fringe players to lower squad numbers, and then bring in the new talent.
Hence why the story of using Benayoun and Kalou as make weights in the deal goes completely against what Spurs are trying to achieve.
Chelsea should really focus on trying to find someone else. I'm sure Bremen will sell Marin for a fraction of the price. They look very similar, and play pretty similar too.

Marin ripped us a new arsehole in pre-season the other week, tidy player
-
• #38844
You see!!!!
I don't see why Chelsea continue to unsettle the player, and offer dross like Kalou and think that'll seal the deal.

Nice to see West Ham winning once again. Cole scoring as well as Parker. I seriously hope that there are no last minute deadline day shenanigans involving his departure.

I'm coming down for the Hearts game, (hearts end), and needing somewhere cheap to stay as it will basically just be somewhere to kip after a fairly boozy night. Where would those with local knowledge recommend?
Getting the train down to euston, leave from king's cross, and hearts fans are planning on congregating around the Liverpool St area for ease of getting to WHL. (secretly gutted that we wont be taking over trafalgar square and kicking beach balls around the fountains in that great Scottish tradition...)

Balls - not what we need:
We had a midfielder with a particularly questionable temperament before. The last thing we need is another one.
