Chelsea have two allocations. Away sides can either take the smaller allocation on a sale or return basis or the larger allocation on a sale basis. This is the same as the procedures adopted by all Premier League clubs. Chelsea have promised thier supporters that they will always take the larger allocation at away games. Some clubs like Wigan (and it would seem WBA) choose to take a lesser allocation as they are concerned that they have insufficent travelling support and will be left with a financial loss.
Don't blame Chelsea, blame West Brom.

Yeah, the Baggies should feel honoured to have the chance to pay £50 to go and see Chelsea in action.

"I am delighted, honoured and very excited to be joining the LA Galaxy," Keane told The Galaxy's website. "I have always wanted to come and play in MLS so it's the perfect combination for me and a dream come true.
"My family and I have already been made to feel very welcome in telephone calls from (Galaxy owner) Tim Leiweke and (manager) Bruce Arena.
"Also when David Beckham came and trained at Spurs (in January) recently he couldn't speak highly enough about the Galaxy, their fans and the league in general, so I can't wait to get over and get started."
Change the fucking record.

@ clive - I wonder if the economic reality is finally sinking in for the black country. last year we didn't have a single sell out ( i think) at home but away support remained staggeringly high (in my opinion as somebody who gave up paying high prices to see football a long time ago) but could well be on the wain this year. My advice to any travelling fans to chelsea is simple....don't arrive on a bike, you'll get arrested and get ready to remortgage the house.

There's quality parking opposite the ground, cycle racks the lot, what more can you ask for?
And on the upside, there are no wet Wednesdays in London.

Got to say the Arsenal side looks so weak tonight and the bench is pathetic.
Even Eboue has left to win some trophies
Would the last one of the Emirates please turn off the lights.

Prices at Stamford Bridge have been held for a while now. All league games are the same price. You pay what we pay.
Other clubs are not so fair about this. Charlton charged Fulham fans £25 and Chelsea fans £50. Although they were supposed to sell tickets to their own fans at the same price they sold double tickets to the Chelsea and Fulham games at £50 the pair. In other words they screwed us.
Other sides have A and B fixtures. Chelsea is always an A.
I cannot get too worked up about Stamford Bridge prices for away supporters as they are at least done fairly.
If you don't like them, there are always others who will take your seat.

others are more than welcome to my seat. like i said, live football long went off my radar when it came to value for money entertainment. The worst ground I remember for screwing away fans was crystal palace, they were shameless back in the 90's

Hoping we turn over Hearts on thursday. Don't want to do a Young Boys of Bern. As I've only just given up ciggies and really don't want to get back on them..
Arr.... the post coital fag. I don't think it matters where they come from; a peterast is a peterast.

If you go to Covent Garden you will pay huge prices to watch opera even though this is subsidised through state and lottery funding and the generosity of companies who donate as charity and wealthy individuals who no doubt have some tax deal going.
If you go to a local opera society, you will see the same opera for much less.
Quality will differ.
If you want to see first class football you will have to pay more than if watching a local amateur side. UEFA requires football clubs to aim towards financial self reliance. The state does not provide direct or indirect subsidies.
Simple economics and whether or not one likes it, that is how it is.

A win, clean sheet, Theo and Tom played well. But christ we looked shit! let's move on, RVP and hopefully Jack back for the weekend, hearing that Gibbs isn't too serious, which is good, because Jenkinson can't use his left on tonights viewing. Was impressed with the way Udinese played, really open and attacking...which a better team (a better Arsenal) would've taken apart!
The small answer is yes they will.
