Charlie Adams completes Liverpool move. I wonder what he will bring to the club. Not in the habit of watching Blackpool so don't know what he's like. I expect he is complete shit they. Any opinions? I'm especially keen to hear from I'm a 14 year old woman or whatever your name is?

Didn't we all start supporting MLS or German teams at one point? How did that work out?

A decent player but I think he will struggle at Liverpool. At Blackpool he was pretty much given a free role in the midfield to do whatever he pleased and as club captain would probably have been the centre of the dressing room. At Liverpool he won't be given any special treatment and won't start every game. I imagine he will become one of the many many players who go from being a successful lower or middle premier league player to a struggling squad player at a bigger club.

I think he is being bought as a second Gerrard, he's a pretty similar player. And considering how often Gerrard is injured (and the rumours are saying he might be fucked for good), I think that's probably a good idea.

MikeC, I've said what I think about him earier, but as you asked...

He's got a great free kick and best Penalty Conversion from last year. Other than that, I'm not sure if he'll cut it (top 6 or whatever it is now)

I'm reserving judgement until October. As John H said, I really think Gerrard is done for too, they're holding him off the pre-season tour, but I think he'll be out by xmas again. I only say this because of his age, type of injury and the way he plays the game.

Charlie Adam will be this seasons cover. Henderson is the permanent replacement.
