  • There's been a labour crisis in Poland because a huge majority of the guys are here working for developers in the UK. There are no plumbers/builders/carpenters there and it would appear that football may well suffer.

It's like the Olympics in Greece all over again. Mind you, there wasn't a labour crisis - more like the beginnings of a financial crisis.

I think there's a lorry load of Irish fella's turning up next week to finish the tarmaccing in the carpark!

Will they have pink chips or white chips in their car parks?

  • The Polish are 6 months behind schedule on the stadia for the 2012 Euro Championship; showed images of builders standing around chatting, fag in hand, rubble and shite all over the place. Problems with electrics, sewage, stairs, roofing, contracts, fatal accidents etc, etc

my old man has just got involved to help sort this out. truefact.

  • Fuck that.

    Modric ain't going nowhere.

  • River Plate relegated, oof!

  • I'd rather be a Blackburn fan than a Villa fan.

They've gone from being a "top four" contender to mid table fodder, and a feeder club.

    This.

Except the being a Blackburn fan bit.

    It's shit.

  • River Plate relegated, oof!

There'll be some brown envelopes changing hands and someone's bound to get shot.

  • he's no Peter Crouch

  • Women's World Cup.

    COME ON ENGERLAND!!

  • Every time I think of Women's football I think of this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/3402519.stm

Am I a sexist if I agree with Sepp?

Before you respond please clarify whether you applied for Beach Volleyball tickets for the Olympics.

  • Yes

    No.

    In order.

  • Yes

    No.

    In order.

    Correct

  • Ramaye, I would have been impressed if you had applied for Men's Beach Volley Ball but I am not sure if they play that.

Agreeing with anything that Blatter says or does must be wrong.

  • They do play men's beach volleyball

  • But Blatter pulls the strings of the conspiracy that means Chelski will never win the Champions League. Who would ever disagree with that.

Mens Beach volley ball does get played, unfortunately TV schedulers can only show so many mens sports and for the purpose of ensuring equality in air time tend to show the ladies version of the game.

  • I have to confess that I don't watch women's beach volley ball or men's or women's regular volley ball and so am unlikely to watch men's bach volley ball. I tried to watch beach soccer on the television once but found it rather frustrating. It was a little like watching West Ham.

  • Fucking hell England.

  • FUCK ME. Powell OUT!

  • Que?!

  • Engerland 1 (header) - Mexico 1 (speculative shot)

  • English team disappoint in opening World Cup game? Who'd have thought it?!

  • The doris who scored plays for Everton. Moyes should see if she's any kop, she may be able to partner Beckford?

  • Is she injured?
