please can we bring back the toilet rolls for 2011/12 season?
These days - happily - we enjoy soft loo roll. Soft loo roll has a propensity to break up when thrown. Hard loo roll was far better at preserving its integrity although less able to perform its primary function and also a little harsh on one's rear.
I gather that these days, at Goodison Park, they throw mobile phone batteries. Oh how times change and football with them.

McLeish has quit Birmingham - is he off to the City Ground?
Blues have said they'd go to court if he joins Villa, but frankly I don't know why. Who cares where he goes? It's not like we've lost a Mourinho or a Wenger to our bitter rivals. He had money and players and relegated us, I like him but the buck stops at the manager and perhaps this is for the best.

After all, we just signed Marlon King after he 'promised' to stay with Coventry.

As I am sticking to my resolution not to speculate on who is signing for whom (whether managers or players) I have little to add to this thread at present.
Not wanting to talk about Liverpool, just wondered whether there was a club out there that we could discuss and rubbish. Derby would be too easy.
Swansea anyone?
We could focus on Chelsea, after all they don't appear to have a manager at present and it seems that no one wants to go there. Why doesn't Ambrotit manage the team himself?
-
• #35783
He does, he just doesn't have the correct qualifications so needs someone to act as a front man.
-
• #35784
And Ambrotit, really? You can do better than that, Mike.
-

Mike, Andy
Talk about your own team (or Swansea).
Chelsea are having a deserved break from media and forum attention.

Even without a manager, we are still set for a European place. Relegation looks sewn up but sad to see Arsenal out in front. Swansea are doing well and QPR are very impressive.

Oh that's how Everton are a top 6 side

What are the odds on that bottom three being the same come the end of the season?

And where's Pisti to tell us about Everton signing Demba Ba from West Ham?

GET IN. looks like Denilson is on the way. Wengers has approached the transfer market has a distinct Swapsie feel to it. only problem with this is we lose out on the value of players going, upside.. they go...

Why Lerner thinks that McLeish is the right man for Villa is beyond me. He's the Scottish version of 'Arry. Wheeling and dealing his way to relegation and still get's a shot at a good club.
I guess it's all about the two Birmingham teams at the moment, one team can't get a manager and the other can't hold on to one.
McLeish handed in his notice by email, classy.
