Bit quiet in here. Did Pisti get lost on the way home from that alien territory - the north of England?

New Arsenal January loan signing Miyaichi on loan to Feyenoord made his debut last week. He looks great, really promising - very pacy and a good dribbler. If he keeps he might make the starting 11 next season. Only 18 too.

He scored in the Eredivisie yesterday, decent goal

Board out? I don't think so
Clough out? No he has a remit and he is working to it
Scrollback to the summer and our objectives this year were to avoid relegation and cut the debts. We will stay up and the debts are down by more than 10 million. Once we are debt free we can afford to pay higher wages and get talent through the doors before then, where's the money gone? Davies and Jewell spent it on crap that never pulled on a shirt and left us without two pennies to rub together. We made the mistake of getting to the lofty heights of 4th place and generated unreal expectations about the remainder of the season. Reality check, lower mid table obscurity and a firmer financial footing.
Reality check 2. Davies will spunk every penny he can at Forest and only finish 7th. [/compulsory dig]
I think you are wildly optimistic thinking you are going to stay up, sold your only creative player brought no-one in and don't look like winning a game anytime soon.
Clough is clearly out of his depth, your team look woeful forgetting all this debt you are cutting clough has still signed several players who don't look like making the grade. His man management is appalling, tactically he has made terrible decisions and your players don't seem to want to play for him.
Shane to see the situation at Derby, loved Clough as a player when I was a kid although his attitude to Forest since he has been up the road has tainted that somewhat.
League 1 is not plan sailing either just ask us or Leeds fans, with the financial situation at Derby I can see you lot going down and not coming back for a few years.
We are looking good at the moment not counting my chickens yet but Davies has done an amazing job with us, despite bring down to 10 men after 20 minutes we dug in today QPR were not very impressive.

Exactalutely!
Trevor Sinclair's for QPR back in '97 pisses all over it
Plus he was going away from goal and outside the box

True, no real skill, just get a good connection and hope for the best.

To be honest I think they will just stay up, but only by way of their early season form. I think Leicester had the highest points total to go down with 52, but usually 46-47 points is enough. Given that Derby only need about 11 points, although that's as many as they got in their memorable Premiership season...
Clough certainly seems to have lost the squad, no matter what Savage says publicly. You can't keep on coming out and berating your players to the press. Fair enough the first time he did, but he got no reaction from it, which suggests they don't want to play for him. And to top it off they got comfortably beaten by both their arch-rivals within weeks of each other.
League One is no plain sailing, we struggled (although in fairness we had Megson in charge) but look at the top of the Championship now, Norwich, Swansea, Leeds, Forest, Leicester. All of whom have recently been in League One. Maybe it could be good for Derby? ;)

Damo, didn't notice your truculence on the train home, was still n that why the fuck do I buy the guardian every saturday and then become increasingly frustrated by the columnists and writers who populate the guide and the magazine section. Deffo going to try the independent next saturday.
also was still coming to terms with the ransom that was our train ticket back from loughborough.Derby played poorly, didn't deserve anything from the game, savage is just marking time till he gets into management, offered, poor flicks, a lot of aimless running and nothing much else.
addison the new huddlestone - only if he stops being so gunshy, when around the ball, coming back from injury, but looked way off the pace.Felt the hair stand on end, when the derby fans to the left of us kept singing "super derby" for pretty much the last twenty mins of the match. Felt like the fans were just waiting for someone to show a spark so they could get behind the team, as soon as bueno came on and ran around, took on some opposing players, the ground got very loud indeed..
whose up for a couple of palace games, ride down, pie and mash, watching some old soccerball..

I'm retreating back to my alternate reality.
After his excursion yesterday, damo is buying a season ticket and a replica shirt which will ease their financial difficulties somewhat.
