  • Torres says he wants to stay at Libpool to try and win The Prem!!?!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

farts in a glass, sniffs it

  • I really do think this could be our year. A new beginning and all that. What do you reckon Dicki?

  • Barring injury of course

  • must. bite. toungue...

  • Everton v Everton

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2010/aug/03/everton-chile-football

CD Everton from Chile have brought over 80 fans for this friendly ^

That's exactly 31 fans more than Libpool took to their European tie last week

    Kopite cunts!

  • Oh fuck! :-(

    http://www.imscouting.com/global-news-article/Barcelona-will-go-for-Everton-midfielder-Mikel-Arteta-if-Cesc-Fabregas-stays-at-Arsenal-/9165/

    Crosses fingers

    http://www.imscouting.com/global-news-article/Spanish-report-Barcelona-have-eyes-only-for-Arsenals-Fabregas-not-Evertons-Mikel-Arteta/9250/

*'It had been suggested that if Fabregas cannot be lured to the Nou Camp, that Barcelona would turn their attention to another Spanish playmaker, Everton’s Mikel Arteta . Goodison Park fans’ favourite Arteta has said he wants to stay at Everton and is currently negotiating with Toffees chiefs over a new contract. Reports indicate Everton are willing to make the Spaniard the club's best ever paid player on £75,000-a-week.*
‘Sport’ reports that even if Arteta were interested in a move to the Catalan giants, Barcelona president Rossell is not keen on a deal and if he is not able to sign Fabregas, Rossell will end the search for a creative midfielder for now'

  • I hope Arteta doesn't go to Barca, other than watching UTD he's one of my favourite players to watch in the prem, he has real class and we need to be keeping these sort of players to keep the quality of the league high.

  • ^ Well said that man!

  • Oh Bill....

    http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/everton-fc/1210143-kenwright-is-there-anywhere-better-than-this.html

Pienaar, who was linked to Bayern Munich and Tottenham in the summer, seems to have settled back in well at Goodison but is yet to sign the deal that will secure him as an Everton player in the long term.

Arteta however has been the subject of a transfer storm with both Arsenal and Barcelona linked with the Spaniard.

Kenwright said he was aware of the choices facing his players, but, speaking to Sky Sports News, took time to remind them that the grass may not always be greener, even at the Camp Nou.

He said: "It is huge, the pull of the blue. I hope they say to themselves, 'Is there anywhere better than this?'

  • Bill Kenwright's a tit but he's got a point

  • i think he is pulling more than the blue.

  • and if you give me any crap about him sitting on the bench...

  • So Richie, do you want to talk about Celtic being out of Europe before the season has even started?

  • no

  • Thought not.

  • Celtic are shite

  • they were woeful last night, judging from the reviews.

  • I can't wait for Tottenham to head in a similar direction

  • Won't take long for Spurs and rubberface to get found out....

  • both insua and aurellio back how funny would that be
especially if we can cut a few 10's of thousands on wages

i want a proper billionaire to take over liverpool bill gates / carlos slim / warren buffet
    someone with proper billions

Well I suppose the Chinese Govt with £232bn to invest aren't a bad call. Imagine spending 232bn on players who would we get
Pele back in his peak after some chinese medical wizardry
    Maradonna rejuvenated and slim again

I for one am happy to forgive them their human right violations

  • I don't give a fuck about human rights as long as we get some cash in

  • £150mn allegedly for players
and after all the british government is almost as bad a violator of human rights as the chinese so i don't think we have much to worry about

    eeek

  • liverpool aka the reds takes on a whole new meaning

  • Cockney kopites talking shite again.....

  • hehe. You know you have missed it and you know you are a bit bitter as things do appear to be looking up a bit for us now compared to the doom and gloom four months ago
