  • the wurtz hatrick proved too much for the fans

  • Did not see Arsenal-Villa coming at all, reeling…

  • Also, to return to a previous peeve, Arsenal fans leaving early?

  • Neverkusen no more. Great scenes!

  • leverkusen win the bundesliga… you can take the boy out of spurs…

  • I'm starting to think that maybe Nathan Tella made the right decision turning down Burnley to go to Leverkusen.

  • To be fair, they'd just watched their title dreams be smashed.

  • Saw the lineup and thought Emery is setting up for a high scoring loss to keep 4th on goal difference.

After 20 mins I didn’t think villa were going to lose.

  • I didn't watch the Arsenal Villa game because whenever I do watch a match Villa don't do well.

So well done me for this amazing result. UTV

  • So when the team need support the most they abandon?

  • It has been an incredibly Spursy weekend all round. Only City, Villa and Newcastle won out of the top 11. Chelsea still to play.

  • Chelsea are irrelevant.

  • Super result. Considering the injuries, amazing really. Been at the Olivier awards, hosted by my wife's gooner boss. Enjoyed being magnanimous and champagne.

    Great weekend all round.

  • Customers not supporters

  • Arsenal will end up with the title either in six games’ time or retrospectively, like Andy Schleck.

  • If they start handing out retrospective titles (they won't) Liverpool will have quite the parade and Jose will be insufferable.

  • No of course they won’t. But I think there’s a lot of agreement that the corruption isn’t being hidden very well.

  • I’m not surprised by Arsenal’s defeat.. winning titles takes a lot of effort, skill and luck. The most I’d want is for a close nail biting finish with Citeh and Liverpool..

  • Congratulations to Man City for winning 8 of the last 13 titles, without breaking any rules and complying fully with FFP / sustainability rules. It is an amazing triumph of football administration and others clearly need to just up their game.

Also thanks heavens we have a properly competitive league ("best in the world"), unlike those continentals where the same team always wins.

  • Famous Villa fans - do Tom Hanks and Floella Benjamin have enough going on to offset David Cameron, Nigel Kennedy and Prince William?

  • Late Benjamin Zephaniah, most of Black Sabbath band members?

  • effort, skill and luck.

The odd billion quid here and there also seems surprisingly useful.

  • Cameron sometimes supports West Ham, when he forgets which team he's pretending to like.

  • I’m absolutely behind Danny Dyer’s updated view on David Cameron

  • I do enjoy Jordan Pickford making himself look a total cunt
