  • There was more than just the three of them, both cars were full, that’s why he was sitting atop a kit bag with no seatbelt on. The two drivers had fines from the club and will be dealt with by the police. The club captain allowed a situation to develop which could have had a severe impact on the club if more players had been injured.

  • I think they should have sacked the others too. It would just be another Ched Evans/Lee Hughes though where some other club without scruples would sign them.

Those screenshots purporting to be from someone whose mum was a police officer who attended also painted Keogh in a pretty unflattering light. If they were accurate, it might also be about how he behaved towards the emergency services when they arrived.

  • They're fucking idiots.
If you can spend xxxxxx on boozing. You can get a fucking cab.
Regardless of whether drinking like that is a good idea as a professional footballer.

  • If they’d sacked everyone who was in the cars we wouldn’t be able to field a team.

  • Play the kids
    The under 15s.

  • oooof get the fuck in
shame it wasn't origi but late goals and never say die attitude pay off for us once again, that second half was one way traffic, mid way through it was 12 shots on target to villas 0

    get in

  • Mane carded for simulation, imagine that

  • Anyway, Palace game tomorrow. It’ll be interesting to see which pillar I’m standing behind this year

  • a shameful moment for him, made up for it slightly with an exquisite header at the death

he doesn't need to do it

  • you'll be able to see choudhury hack someone down from wherever you sit i'm sure, pillar or no pillar

  • Been quiet on here for a while cos football has been a bit shit recently and work is killing me. Would like to get to the footy drinking session (without driving) if it’s still going ahead though.

Re: Derby drinkers. There’s obviously a lot of stuff that hasn’t been published and a lot of rumours flying about. I believe Keogh was sacked for gross misconduct as he couldn’t fulfil his contractual obligations as a player due to an injury that wasn’t in the line of duty and was avoidable had he thought about his actions. The statements and leaking of information about the dismissal seem to be coming from his camp which leads me to believe he’s not getting good advice. I think I’d be willing to take a severe pay cut (to just £thousands per week) and get some top quality healthcare and rehab if it meant keeping my long term job. Sure it would sting a bit compared to my regular take home salary, but it’s better than what he’s now getting. Nothing.

The club has punished the other two named players the most they can within their contracts without firing them. I believe it’s an 8 week fine and more community service on top of what the court dished out. I’m not sure what punishments the other players may have received, the only other one I’ve heard involved was one our brightest academy prospects and he’s not been involved in the first team squad since it all happened. Mason Bennett is also now playing for the U23 team (who are coincidentally top of the U23 Premier League at the moment).

Anyway, it was nice to beat a really shit Boro team today and glad that Saville finally saw a red card after several shit challenges against us over the years.

  • What? And that would give Palace fans the right to racially abuse him like your lot? Get to fuck.

And he never “hacked down” Salah. Try watching, or break the habit of a lifetime and go to a game.

    😢

  • When was the last time Salah put in an influential performance?

  • just before choudhury injured him with that tackle
he hasn't been training with the squad since the " challenge " while he recovers

  • Horror tackle at the Everton game. Broken ankle / lower leg.

Son sent off but he wasn’t at fault... Can’t believe VAR didn’t take a look.

  • I think that was a mercy sending off

  • Not sure that was anybody’s fault to be honest, certainly not Son’s.

Aurier not helping his case by ambling off so slowly.

  • Eh!!!
What’s leaving the pitch slowly got to do with how he should be perceived?

Son should have never received a red card for his part in that tackle. At most a yellow, at most.

Didn’t play well, but didn’t play badly. Everton were always going to get something out of the game after the Gomes injury. In our current state trying to hold them off with 12mins added on was never going to happen..

Good that dele got the goal. Eriksen needs to not play for a while. He’s not playing well, first touch, passing, decision making all faulty today, and have been for a while..

Praying Lo Celso doesn’t get injured international duty.

  • How can VAR not correct the sending off. It was a booking as he was receiving at first.

How can VAR not correctly call a penalty on Dele Alli for the handball?

  • VAR? What is it good for? Absolutely nothing

  • Bayern Munich sack their manager.

Is Karl-Heinz on the phone to Klopp do we think?

  • Was there a Dele Alli hand ball? Corni didn’t mention it

  • Son should get at least a five game ban for that. It was horrific. Not sure if anyone could fully recover from the ligament damage that that would have caused.
