Not too dissimilar from the Wenger era hey...

Did anyone expect major change in 9 months after 20 years of the same regime? I didn’t. I’ve seen good signs of progress this season, but I wasn’t expecting overnight success.

Tickets for Ajax for second tier spurs members/non season ticket holders go on sale tomorrow morning
Not holding out a lot of hope that I’ll be able to get one but will be hitting refresh from 9.59am -

Each season Burnley have been in the Premier League we've beaten the defending champions. I think we'll give City a decent game but if they score early we're probably screwed.

Pogba in the PFA team of the season over Hazard. I’m not a Chelsea fan but he’s the most talented midfielder in the league.
Pogba has turned it on in about three games this season and spent six months undermining his manager.

luckily for you Villa won that particular game of chicken. Grealish , like so many championship players , will be out of hid depth in the elite world of title chasing teams and champions league knockout round wannabees. People were talking about Grealish years ago and ever since that day Villa got humiliated in the Cup final we havent heard a whisper until the last two months.
You dodged a bullet -

isn't this more to do with when the players are asked to vote? Absolutely no reason why they couldn't all vote now on an app. Whoever is collating these votes is obviously using an abacus

poor choices.

I don’t disagree with the others really. Spurs fans might grumble but nobody has stood out all season long - maybe Vertonghen or Aldereiweld in for Laporte.
But Pogba? Jesus.

one word.....Son

To be fair Sissoko has been a revelation this term too. And he's kept Eric Dier out of the team which is worth it on its own.

Someone ran the numbers comparing Son and Sterling and they are pretty similar.
-
• #149665
But Sterling has scored a lot of crucial match winning goals that have counted towards a title bid so it’s no contest.

Should we get fourth place (unlikely) will Roman stick with Sarri?
-
• #149669
It's like that season we won the league because everyone else was too busy pooing their pants in April... It would be amazing if we finished fourth, I'm sure we'll screw it up royally...

If either Arsenal or Chelsea win the europa (IF) would they take the place of someone who finishes forth.
Is that right?

Chelsea cant sign anyone for 2 years? it would make sense to give someone time to actually coach the players they have while recalling the loads of players they have on loan

Haha, journalism as lazy as the link.
I doubt that Chelsea would go for someone with one years management experience on his CV regardless of his affiliations with the club in the past. RDM wasn't even given the job after doing such a good job as caretaker.
The truth is, the best thing about Frank is his contacts at Chelsea helping us get players of a high enough calibre to compete at Championship level. That's the first thing he'll not have at Chelsea. The bit about our financial issues is blown a bit out of proportion. Most of our high earners are out of contract at the end of the season and our youth teams are now at the point where we will be able to promote these players to the first team (Jayden Bogle being an example this year). We won't be spending big money on players but we will get quality in.
The worst thing about Frank is his naivety. He can come undone on the tactics and it's probably frustrating that players can't play like him. He's also got to work harder on his mentality, he's got carried away a few times this season and been fined for his behaviour. He also lost a mind game with Bielsa and that is basic management really. I don't doubt that other managers would have seen this already and will be happy to employ similar tactics to get in Lampards head pre-match.
He's learning his craft at Derby. I don't doubt he will be happy togo to Chelsea and I think that's his aim, but he isn't ready yet. Even if he gets promoted with us this season (unlikely), I don't think he'd be offered the Chelsea job.

Maybe...
England can have up to 5 teams in Champions League.
4th place would be bumped if a team outside top 4 won the Champions League and a team outside the top 4 won Europa League.BBC did the permutations a few days ago:

No doubt about it. Problem with Sarri and this squad is the inconsistency. Loved watching Napoli play but this isn’t Serie A and sadly our midfield is more unhinged than Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump combined.
Was horrible watching that manc derby last night, utd ran themselves out in 30 and without scoring stood little chance after that...
I've always like Burnley
