also this is just insane
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/nov/27/borussia-dortmund-bus-attacker-14-years-prison
"Prosecutors alleged that W took out a loan to place a bet that Dortmund’s shares would drop in value, then bombed the bus and tried to disguise the attack as Islamic terrorism."

Big game this week is tomorrow’s match BATE v Vidi. If BATE win, Chelsea are in a strong position in their group.

Big game tonight against the (alleged) financial dopers. Let's hope we bring our A,B and C game to overcome our massive disadvantage.

psg is going to be tough
they'll try and play football rather than set up defensively which may be to our advantage , they'll hopefully leave gaps all over the place for our front three to take advantage of
the back 5 will have to play well though -

the sheriff has a delicate balancing act tonight, fielding a team strong enough to keep our champions league hopes alive whilst being aware of the importance to the fans of putting the boot into Arsenal’s unbeaten run on Sunday.
As I’ve said before playing in Europe is important and once there shouldn’t be sacrificed for league position. If you can’t compete in both what’s the point in qualifying for it in the first place.
Homegrown player rule has made it harder for us in terms of player selection, but we’ve got enough bodies coming back from injury at just the right time to give Pochettino room to manoeuvre.
Will be interesting to see how we set up tonight, must win game for us, if we want to keep the knockout stage dream alive, inter can live with a draw... -

No one is talking about how poor United were, are they?

84% possession and 18 attempts at goal.
Who’s their most influential player over the last few seasons? It’d be hard to look past Fellaini these days.

Who’s their most influential player over the last few seasons?
De Gea, unfortunately. And probably Ashley Young, which is indeed an indictment of the team.

Lovren back in the starting line up. Shudder.
Hope we give it a go tonight. -

Eriksen to the rescue.
Never thought I’d say the words but Sissoko was immense tonight, all over the place, putting in a shift defensively and then initiating attacks. It was his run into the box and pass that led to Eriksen’s goal.
The round of “when the spurs go marching in” after made the spine tingle.
Thought winks had a good game, very positive, couple of surging runs forward and hit the bar with a shot we all thought was going in. Moura had some delightful pieces of control and dribbling, but it didn’t come off for him tonight. Lamela pressed and chased and played through balls, but his corners weren’t great and you could feel the lift when son and Eriksen came on instead of them.
Match was remarkably low-key, though you could feel the tension in the crowd. Inter came to defend, happy with a draw, willing to snatch a goal on the counter if they could.
We were happy to be patient, play out from the back and try and play possession football. Despite the crowds urging, didn’t feel like we ever really went all out to get the result. Felt like they were saving something for the NLD on Sunday, despite the last minute roll of the substitution dice to bring on Son and Eriksen..Anyway result means we just need to match inter’s result on the next match day, but would be safer if we just went and won at Barca, and with them now having won the group, good chance they’ll rest players for that game..
