  • I want to buy a kids Juventus home kit with Dybala's number and name on the back. The only source I can find for this is the Juventus website itself, at a cost of £73. Does anyone know of any other options for obtaining this?

  • What about that football shop on Carnaby Street? Or has that gone?

  • think soccer scene has gone, do sports direct or Lillywhites do the number and name thing

  • Awesome, I thought I had looked previously and were out of stock or only did Ronaldo. Ordered! Thanks!

  • Watching footy in Argentina is utterly bonkers.

In 2008 I went to one River Plate game (3:3 vs Huracán I think) and one of the end of season playoff games (Boca vs Tigre at Racing Club's ground because there were 3 teams in the end of season playoffs, Boca lost but won the playoff mini-league).

It's properly bonkers. Mounted police controlling crowds by firing shotguns in the air. Fans with no tickets rushing the gates. Grounds have internal moats with 20' drops and the fire brigade use hoses to knock down anyone who tries to scale the fences (about one person per minute tries this despite a 0% success rate).

Oh yes, and a 1 mile 'no alcohol' zone around the ground for the entire day of the match.

  • Why the fuck is the Grand Prix on 5 Live and nothing on Sports Extra?

Grand Prix is for fucking twats. Where's the football?

  • Football is on Talk Sport.

  • I think playing football lowers my blood sugar too much.

My Sunday League team has only lost one game all season and that's when I was up in Cheshire. Won 5-1 today in the cup and I'm still more annoyed about the one we conceded than the fact that we won.

  • Flip the record over mate, ffs.

I think it's shuffle the playlist these days, gramps.

  • Excellent 2nd city derby. Shame to let the noses score 2, but finally put them away. A few more wins and we'll be putting a bit of pressure on those above.
Dean Smith is going to be great at the Villa.

  • Waiting for my coach back now and reflecting on the game. Their second goal pisses me off the most. I can deal with their first and Adams hitting the bar if it served to wake us up. But their second was extremely avoidable, and very frustrating. It’s great that we won and VP was rocking! Craig Gardener’s face was an absolute picture too 👌 And Alan of course, what a man.

  • Scottish Cafu's goal was ridiculous. Was not a fan of his, but the last couple of years he's been terrific. Must have been a great atmosphere - need to get up at some point soon.

  • Before our resident scousers pipe up I’d like to say that Spurs had the better of us.

There’s no point in having 60% possession if you don’t score until the 85th minute.

  • Come to the Baggies away game on the 7th if you can - i'm driving up if any Villans want a lift.

  • The seventh time they have beaten us in the Premier League. Becoming a bit of a habit.

Still, it was good to get the unbeaten tag off our backs. Very much still a team in transition and now we need to go out and transist.

  • Jorginho was unable to transist from jogging pace to Son pace, looked bang average for the first time this season, was flailing about like Hendo, the shame.

David Luiz needs bundling into the back of a Transit, transitioning from Nike boots to some concrete ones, then dumping in the Thames.

  • I'm sure Roman could arrange for that to happen very easily.

  • Good to get the win, and burst a rivals unbeaten bubble. Keep pace with the top two and produce our best performance of the season. The sheriff is pulling decent performances from Sissoko, and is mixing and matching the team as injuries permit.
First time that Dele, Eriksen, Son and Kane have started a match together this season and their attacking brio served is well..

Been much discussion about Sarri’s continued use of Jorginho, instead of kante in that holding role, when Dele harried him out of his usual game and Son ran him ragged for the third goal.

Really pleased that we are managing to overcome the ongoing issues around stadium completion and lack of transfer business and that Pochettino is making the most of the players at his disposal. If we keep up with the leaders into the last third of the season and get out of our champions league group, he’ll have worked wonders.

  • Dunno - I thought he was poor against Everton too when they closed him down and stopped him from playing his natural game.

  • True, he was more stifled in that game, he was overrun in this one.

And the most impressive thing for Spurs was they did it all with Eric Dier ON the pitch. The man has the mobility and skill of a fridge freezer, so playing with him was like playing the game with 10 men. A.Mazing.

  • On Luiz

    penultimate panel

  • Kind offer, but can't make that one.

  • No worries - offer stands. We're at yours in Feb if i remember correctly - definitely keen to go to Villa Park for that one.
