More likely to go on loan to a European side involved in European competitions. Needs to step up to that level. Either that or he could stay which would be nice although he would be competing with quite a few others for that role.

Morata, Giroud, Hudson Odoi (although he can play either side of a central striker) as well as Pedro, Willian and Hazard. It could be that Chelsea are waiting to see what happens to all of the players who have been linked with Real Madrid before making a decision.

Villa is about the same level as Chelsea. John Terry didn't seem to have any problems making the adjustment.

He also got to play some home games in a proper big stadium.

(His biggest home crowds he played in front of were at Villa.)
