  • suarez to coutihno ..... GOAL

ah to have them both back in the red

  • ESPN digging

    Nothing new there.

  • realised that as I read it.
Not sure about ESPN's football coverage, seems a bit to narrative based/opinion led, rather than having any concrete information/sources..

  • talking of characters
did you look in your garden shed for mahrez, he still seems to be missing, maybe you locked the door with him still inside

  • He was back training today, all smiles apparently...

Until Wes gives him a slap, that is.

  • Is he going to play on the weekend? Those of us with him in their fantasy football teams need to know

  • Puel said he wouldn't at the press conference, but that was before training today. Knowing Puel, I doubt he will go back on his word and I really hope he doesn't. My guess would be he'll start on the bench and come on second half if we're still in the game.

    It's all about Diabate...

  • yeah there needs to be some consequence to having a tantrum.

I'm assuming you'll sell him come the summer?

  • Is @Markyboy managing the Foxes now? Sorry if I've missed something...

  • No I was planning on managing Wortho in his twilight years

  • I'd hurry up if I were you...

  • It's no longer about winning the trophies which is just as well for Liverpool fans too.

Expect to see plenty of rolling around on the floor this afternoon

  • "You need results to be sure that all the income will be at a level to start a process to build a new stadium, to attract players, to play Champions League."
    Could have been Wenger, 2006

  • Most lopsided 1-0 I’ve seen in a long time. Arsenal came and sat deep first half and let us play in front of them. Real lack of intensity and bite, didn’t feel like a north london derby at all. We created what little there was and then took the game by the scruff of the neck come the second half, scored with our second or third good chance and we then squandered 4 or 5 more.

Felt like we battered them and apart from Wilshire who had no help in the center of the park, the rest of the arsenal team played pretty poorly. Ozil wasn’t a presence, the new signings didn’t get a sniff and bellerin seems like the only one willing to put in a shift...

Nervous last ten mins as Wenger pushed all his chips into the table, but we weathered the attack’s and came away with the points.

Well deserved win all in all, no injuries and a confidence boost for the game against juventus next week..

  • We was robbed. But otherwise largely agree.
Arsenal put a few nice through balls in the first half but were caught offside or 'offside'. Other than that and the final Lacazette chance we were pretty naff.
Hard to rate Aubameyang given that he got no ball. Ozil was absent and Mkhitaryan made so many mistakes.
Lucky not to have conceded more when Alli and Tripper had great chances. Czech getting lucky again trying to 1-on-1 Kane...

  • Looking like Europa again.
But at least we've still got a better shot at silverware even if it is the caramel macchiato cup

  • If we can overpower you, you’re not beating Man City.

Had a good time at the match yesterday especially enjoyed food and drink at beer and burger, afterwards..

Hoping I’ll get to a couple more league games before the end of the season, probably Newcastle and Man City, baby arrival and work depending..

Thinking I’ll splash the cash and get onto the new stadium wait list as well..

  • Strong second city derby result. Taken advantage of everyone else in the pack drawing and move into 2nd spot. 7 wins in a row - best form in the country. Top work all.

  • Newcastle taking points off Man Utd. Making the race for best of the rest even tighter. Got to hope Southampton put a dent in Liverpool’s hopes as well..

  • Resident Liverpool fans condemning Firmino in 3, 2, 1...

  • “The HuriKane”

Oh dear. That is too Spursy even for our resident might be a season ticket holder if I get past the waiting list and parental duties don’t intervene and I can find the way to White Hart Lane Tottenham fan.

  • I heard on 5 Live that John Terry played in front of his biggest ever home crowd today.

It's nice to him to end his career with a big club after a disappointing time with Chelsea and those unhappy Champions League finals.
