Nah, he's a great player... He knocks them in from all over the shop, dunno how he does it... I'd take him at Chelsea in a heartbeat...
Even tho' he is a dirty, diving, scumbag spud...

He's the most complete centre forward alongside Lewandowski.
This season, 9 with left, 9 with right and 4 headers.

Like most armchair football fans, I'm happy to admit I can be wrong!
He's not Torres in his prime though.... -
• #141055
No he's better.
-
• #141056
Can’t see him winning the same amount of silverware as Torres though.
If he sticks around at Spurs he’ll be the next Alan Shearer.

It was uncomfortable viewing. Have to say (obvious bias) the Noor Husin goal was brilliant. Potentially a great signing. Promotion focus now.

Although Shearer did win a PL with Blackburn so the comparison isn’t quite accurate.
Steve Bull perhaps?

The lad's got talent, I hope he ships out before it's too late...

salah is matching kane while being a winger, not just waiting on the goalline for tap ins to come his way
-
• #141061
Absolutely but needs to move out of his comfort zone to be considered one of the very best.
-
• #141062
Kane and Salah will be great playing together for Real Madrid in 2019.
-
• #141063
Kane = Higuain.
-
• #141064
LeTissier?
Though obviously not as popular.

Yes Salah is doing brilliantly.
But Kane scored the 2nd most goals from outside the box last season and I think has second most in total since 2012 (2nd in both counts to Coutinho).
Salah takes over 85% of his shots on target inside the area and has the same amount of goals from outside the area as Kane this season.
Kane does have 7 goals from inside the 6 yard box compared to Salah’s 4. But I would hardly consider the definitive proof that Kane scores tap ins and Salah worldies.

Well he’s English so unlikely to win WC or EC!
I think he may very well end up in Madrid - Perez loves Benzema and this has been ok as he provided a great foil to Ronaldo. But looks like CR7 will be leaving soon and so I guess so will Benz. Neymar, Kane and Salah as the front three for Madrid seems a real possibility.

Could just be the first billion dollar team if it happens.

Don't forget that Hazard and Courtois are also going to RM with Azpilicueta and Kante.

Handy.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42979212Always brings a smile to my face this kind of thing, especially when I remember HMRC sent me a letter last year saying I had underpaid my tax by £63 or something and they were going to adjust my tax code accordingly.

England in a final?

2-0 up at half time, against Newport, lamela looking good and sharp behind llorente. Sissoko is doing football type things but still seems oddly out of step with everyone else. Forth looks very very comfortable, making it all look very easy.
Hoping for no injuries and a couple more goals in the 2nd half.. -
• #141072
Unlucky on your hopes. I think Son was slightly injured and the team missed 3 or 4 sitters
-
• #141073
Shame. Son played well.
-
• #141074
Hopefully Son’s not too injured looked like he winded himself, from what I could see..
Once we got the second looked fairly comfortable. And the run out for eriksen and Alli was more of a stretch your legs affair, so they are still fresh for derby day..
Was hoping llorente would have scored to keep his confidence up for when we need him over the next couple of matches.
Lamela looked super lively and pretty much dictated the game playing from the 10, his interplay with son was one of our most effective routes to goal..
Pity moura didnt play, Son’s pace and trickery put Newport on the back foot from the start and feel like moura would have had an easy start to his Spurs career.. -

I'm Arsenal so I was only there for a work social and the possibility of watching the enemy lose :)
But the team played well and after the small defensive mistakes in the first 20mins Newport only really had one more opportunity to score near the very end due to Spurs possession and control of the game.
Looking forward to Saturday
