Did you see the feature on their 1966 team on BBC.
The match against Portugal was the best ever by all accounts N Korea had a 3 nil lead and Eusebio gave one of his greatest performances to turn it around and give Portugal a 5-3 victory.

Quick question- Are the Italians always as theatrical as they were last night or do they just save it for World Cups? The Aussie media is giving them a right old bagging and have even started backing "Australasia" against Paraguay to make the knock out stages the cheeky fuckers.

I work for Italians and yes they are. The silliest, simplest things are converted from small easily-solvable errors into drama's of epic proportions.
But I still love them - they're both hilarious and wonderful because of exactly this.

Disgraceful behavior from that cheating Ivorian! Really pisses me off .. undermines respect for the game, especially when the refs are calling them all wrong. What the fuck, FIFA. What the fuck. I can totally see one twat of a ref cocking it up deeper into the tournament, when it really matters.
Anyone caught diving like that, even after the game on a replay, should be immidately sent home by cargo ship to give them time to reflect upon their ways

Is it me or did John Terrys interview basically suggest that he still thinks he is Captain and that Capello has lost the team and if he doesn't listen to what they have to say then fuck him?
A very strange interview I thought -

Would it be because Gerrard has the intelligence of a mosquito and can't be trusted to do press conferences?
(Not saying that Terry is intelligent etc.)

So Lucio can join him too?

Its more difficult to understand Gerrard. But after the Algeria game I thought he came accross very well, in an unscripted heat of the moment sort of way. It was more the tone of the interview.

There is room for all cheating diving bastards, it would be a big ship

Is there gonna be an LFGSS meet-up on Weds to see us get knocked out?
-
• #13940
Drop the twat and we have a slim chance
-
• #13941
He should try Gerrard & Barry in the middle, Cole on left and fuck knows who on the right?!

They can't hold it off forever, it's getting ridiculous that a ref can't watch a quick reply on the big screen - especially in important decisions like a sending off or a contested goal - the old argument of it slowing the game up is horeshit, you waste more time with everyone protesting a bad decision and circling the ref - and with technology available now you can set up and reply the event in seconds - what's insane is that even people sat on their sofa at home in their underpants can make a better assessment of how to call it as they get to see several replays from various angles, while the ref needs to use divination and guesswork - it's ludicrous.
As for the threat of every foul being contested, each team could have a set amount of calls to the big screen (like 4 or 5 . . . . ) to prevent this.
I can well imagine in the near future instant replays of incidents for the crowd on the big screen and the ref having to shield his eyes in case he sees what actually happened.
Fucking ridiculous.

The last decent entertaining game played there I hear.
The North Koreans must win, if they don't their families will be executed.
