Not a breath of wind in the stadium, although yes it was certainly raining. Fair play to Klopp, he certainly got it right over Hughes, especially in the first half.
But it's only half time. All Stoke have to do now is win at Anfield for the first time ever.

Blackman looks a good signing for Derby, he's put away quite a few this season.
Why isn't Bent playing or scoring more, form or injuries?
-
• #122735
Blackman has had a good run this season but he hasn't been that convincing when I've seen him in the past few seasons. Lots of rumours of a bad attitude too over the years.
-
• #122736
Derby have spent a lot of money this season. More than we lost last year in fact.
-
• #122737
It's almost as if we're spending to make sure we go up and miss any embargo...
-
• #122738
It worked out well for QPR.

• #122739
And forest too.

How about Blackpool?

@tommmmmmm Quite happy with the Blackman signing (and Razza Camara from SCO Angers). They give us different options in attack when we've struggled against teams that have setup well against us.
@aggi Blackman is in form and even if it's just a one season wonder then that should hopefully be enough to get us promoted.
@Prole. We have spent a lot, but the current owner isn't stupid (or poor) and I trust the money people we have working for us know what they're doing. Apparently we've got some hefty insurance deals in place on our players, so when Will Hughes got crocked for the season it paid out enough for us to get Butterfield in in his place. The current FFP rules are spread over a 3 year period of loss as opposed to last seasons financial loss over one year.

I hoped. Better? I semi wondered if that's why Ibra was leaving.
PSG would take Pep over Blanc in a heartbeat

Verheijen predicting injury crisis at LFC and seems to be proved right again

One of the stat sites was quoting a huge increase in average km travelled per player in games since Klopp arrived added to Xmas fixtures = overload to failure due to sudden accumulated fatigue.

Ipswich's big January transfer window signing so far is a player who couldn't get in the Barnsley first team and is hoping to get more playing time.
-
• #122747
Yeah I can buy that. It's all about next season, after a good preseason training. Just maintain equilibrium this one and hope we don't destroy any of the players for good
-
• #122748
He was in decent form at the start of the season but seems to have tailed off in the last dozen games or so. Not a bad option for the bench though, if you can afford to spend that much on an impact sub.
