  • @Soul - yeah, I realise that might not happen.

buyout depends on us staying up is the rumour, so next week or so is key. (Come on Chelsea and Liverpool!) A takeover is always a risk, but Lerner's not wanting anything more to do with the club so we need to move on - a bit of early investment to get us back into top 10 will be fine for me for a couple of seasons.

Slightly worried about what Tim'll be like in the transfer market mind.

  • David Cameron's a BIG fan with some loaded mates and he may be out of a job very soon...I imagine he thinks he'd be rather good at it

  • especially now we'll be playing in the Olympic stadium.

  • Just look at the passion he'll bring.

  • I specifically called out consortium's of owners and not a single, rich, beneficiary like Abramovich.

The word foreign could be removed to be fair.

  • Get ready for the roar of 11,000 Bournemouth fans in the Premier League next year.

    Unless:

Bournemouth celebrating like they've completely ruled out a 19-0 defeat at The Valley on Saturday. We'll see... #cafc

  • I reckon we might win 2-0 so 18-0 will do

  • In crossover news, Mark Bosnich has been charged with deliberately knocking a cyclist off his bike in Oz.

  • Great game last night and another trophy in the bag. We had about the same number for an U18 match as Bournemouth had for their biggest game ever. But then we are all plastics and Bournemouth supporters are "real" supporters.

The skill on show from the youth side was amazing. They were eon another level to the Man City boys. That said, it is difficult to see how any of them can make the transition quickly to first team football. The lack of physicality; the need to beef up was all too apparent. However skillful it is difficult to see how those boys could cope now with physical sides like Stoke and Arsenal.

  • happy 25th anniversary liverpool fans

giving the others a chance since 1990

  • Wasn't yesterday the anniversary of Slippy G?

  • I reckon we might win 2-0 so 18-0 will do

It's all about securing the coveted play-off bye against Derby.

  • Nah, he's shitting having to play us and realises that a stonking great win is his only hope.

  • If we do manage to not fuck up this weekend, we're likely to get Boro who are the only team in the current top 6 to have beaten us this season. Meh. The big TV money doesn't start until the season after next anyway...

  • We have shot our load though. I wouldn't be more or less worried about 'boro than anyone else.

  • It would be terrible if Derby, Forest, or Boro went up. This thread would be invaded by plastics.

  • I bet there are loads and loads of glory hunting 'Boro fans waiting in the wings.

  • I'm off to do research on Bournemouth, Watford and Boro.....

I was so hoping that the diminutive massive from Derby were going to come up but that looks so unlikely now.

  • Bournemouth should be fun. Sadly the chances of getting a ticket so I could combine a visit to my old mum (86 tomorrow and with fewer marbles left than Greece) is too too remote.

  • Bournemouth. Average age of supporter 76...

  • Joe's moved to Oz. OR HAS HE?

  • Liverpool are looking desperate not to finish 5th.

  • Who cares any more. If it wasn't for the NHL playoffs I'd drop my sports package right now. Our season is over, and being in the Europa League isn't that great.

  • You Fucking bunch of bedwetting lazyarsed cunts Liverpool. Pathetic.
