What about the prospects for next year Liverpool fans...
What are you so bitter about? You've spent £150M and you have no euro competition to worry about. Break out the champagne, you put the same number past qphahahaha as spurs.
Given your opening sequence of games shouldn't you already be top??
Well in Villa Ru. You deserved your win. Blame is firmly with Rodgers. We hit the post once and that was about it. Too many new faces at one time (with none of the front 3 that caused all the damage last term). The chosen formation has failed us numerous times. Diamond pls.
I get trying to deflect pressure from new signings but questioning spends wasn't wise, when the opposition have been financially castrated. The only positive is that we've picked up 6 points this season when, corresponding games last season only got us 4.

Monreal out with a back injury and Chambers rated at 50/50
Well done everyone for thinking 6 defenders would get us through the season...

The Arsenal way.
I played last night and my little toenail on my right foot (I'm right footed) is on the verge of falling off. Also due to play tonight with work. Eeep.

I lose circa 2 toenails a year playing football. usually the big one Best advice is stick some tape round it and wear a tight sock under you football socks, should keep it going for the match. Then soak it in hot salty water.

Mine fell off when i wore slightly too small for my feet boots. is the the case?
-
• #110538
Toe punts are seriously useful in 5-a-side.

Marco van Basten had stepped down as head coach at AZ citing heart palpitations. Apparently they got worse since the death of his father earlier this year.
I remember when he retired at AC Milan he was very clear that he wanted to step away from football for good as the stress he suffered was unbearable for him and needed time away from the game.

Correct, his assistant and him have swapped roles.

serious question is Hazard worth a new 5yr contract and 200k a week?
@jaw, @>>>>>> @cliveo - even though he's still riding through italy..http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/sep/16/eden-hazard-new-record-chelsea-contract
From the small sample size of this season looks like Fabregas, Courtois and Costa are the ones who are doing the heavy lifting.

Well worth it, he's a big player and part of TSO's future plans... Everyone's sniffin' around and offering him a better deal, we've got to stump up to keep him... How this is gonna go down with the rest of the squad, I don't know...
But we talked about this yesterday...
-
• #110547
He's our most valuable asset. Regardless of what people think of his consistency.
Every time he gets the ball you're on the edge of your seat waiting to see what he's gonna do next.I hate the words asset describing a player but it is what it is this day and age.

Plus he's what 23?
People underestimate the difference that Matic has made to the Chelsea team especially given how well Costa and Cesc are doing but he allows these other players to profer.
-

Matic has made a huge impact and it's not to be underestimated how much he contributes.
Got to say, watching Daley Blind play his first game at OT was in one word, impressive. I know it's only QPHahaha but still.
Whoevers in charge of picking games for MNF should be fucking shot with tonights choice.
