  • Hey you all, you shouldn't worry 'bout a thing too much cause everything is gonna be alright.

A vapour of gangia is doing good and can help for hypertension sufferers and should do no harm.

Have a drink of red or dark and relax baby, if not drinking means to start posting at 9am.. you need rest. Eat well and you will do good. You're doing not bad anyway. But better be doing better bro.

A better bettor doesn't make you a fetter sweater debtor.

  • It is about football, it is.

  • Nice calm and measured response after Newcastle got beaten by Saints.

  • Subtitles required.

  • enjoyed the dig at Heskey in there

  • 4-2-3-1 as welcome at Anfield as Woy...

How on earth did Senderos stay on the pitch?

Would be a lot more maudlin about the who thing but as I was watching the game a car flipped over outside my house.. luckily no one was seriously hurt.

  • 1 Chelsea 4 9 12
    2 Aston Villa 4 3 10
    3 Swansea 4 3 9

    Table never lies.

  • You do know all this jumping up & down is going to make your inevitable relegation battle all the more painful come spring don't you?

  • darn it ... enjoy it while it lasts
for who knows what tomorrow brings
villa are just one diego costa injury away from topping the table

  • Talk about your own crocked strikers...

  • Good weeks have been hard to come by in recent seasons so I am going to be full of it while it lasts.

  • Villa got their tactics right by pressuring intensely high up the pitch in the first 15 minutes and launching an aerial bombardment to exploit their height advantage in the box. At one stage I was hoping the full backs would just let the initial cross into the box to avoid conceding a corner, where we were most vulnerable. Once Villa got the goal it was eerily reminiscent of the defeat against Chelsea, exposing our limitations and lack of patience against a packed defense. Congrats on the win; I hope other managers don't cotton on and replicate the tactics but I fear they will.

Balotelli's movement was woeful. He seemed to be either walking or bending down to tie his shoes laces for most of the game. When the ball is dead he switches off. Compare that to the constant movement and alertness of Suarez. We would have been better starting with Lambert. The sooner Sturridge is back, the better. Realistically, top 4 looks like it will be a struggle without Suarez.

  • chin up

  • What about the prospects for next year Liverpool fans...

  • ... it could be your year

  • i haven't given up on this one
it's not the end of august yet ..... oh

next year we'll add a class striker and go again

  • I wouldn't get too giddy off the back of your first win of the season against relegation fodder.

  • I mean try to at least defend yourselves against the claims of match fixing in your league Italy.

  • Well, we've got 5 more points than I was expecting by this stage when I looked at the fixture list - Derby's record looks safe for another season. I do fear Man Utd next week could be a real shock to the system. But really pleased with our back four, Ulloa and Mahrez. And getting Cambiasso looks like it could be a smart move.

  • Btw, what's happened to our mini Swindon/Scouse hybrid? Will we hear from him now Everton have won a game, or is he just struggling to log in to the new site?

  • I heard, if you call his name three times, that he appears and begins writing a lot of shouty words split up with several hundred chevrons at anyone who dares to question him.

    I'll start the proceedings.

    @Pistanator

  • I bumped into him last week, alive and well and getting on with his life...
