That's a good replacement, though he's more comfortable at Centre half so possibly a replacement for Lovren?
-
• #106103
And make that another £25m for Southampton.
Lallana to Liverpool fee agreed.

• #106104
Seems pricey to me.
Bournemouth will be loving it!

• #106105
Ugh, not a player we need. Quality defenders and a defensive midfielder are the priorities.

• #106106
hope this will do me well

Moyes to Galatassaray??????

Apparently Ronaldo paid for the £50k brain surgery of a 10 month old kid - and this is the scar that the child has.
-
• #106109
Yep, he's not all cunt. mostly but not all thought that was a quality gesture.
Not the first child op he's bankrolled either.

• #106110
25 was the max we were willing to pay...another good midfield option..
As you say a little on the pricey side, but a statement of intent hopefully

Utd are paying far too much in wages and transfer fees in a desperate bid to get back amongst it. I really don't think they have that much financial clout left and they haven't begun to address the centre of defense yet. LVG will blow a vein when he tips up and sees jones and Smalling in training.

Who's Van Pierse?

So what it all seems to boil down to is: -
a) Yes he's a racist/cunt, but he's our racist/cunt (as true of Terry as it is of Suarez)
b) Because he's our racist/cunt, we'll defend him (less true of Terry than it is of Suarez)
c) Which seems to consist of pointing out that, whatever he's done, someone somewhere's done something worse, so stop picking on himOr there's the complete denial option...
The biggest differentiator is the FA/Premier League taking down all traces of the White Heart Lane incident as Terry held the England captaincy. It used to be there try googling it now....
But for people to not understand something is very wrong when it is the THIRD time it has happened is depressing. It's surreal (though on some level the whole thing is LOLworthy).

This^
I agree with what I could understand of what Gordon Strachen said (no subtitles but I think I got the gist) that we will gloss over drink drivers, wife beaters, divers, cheats etc. as long as they are winning games. If the offending player is a youth team or reserve player they will be instantly sacked but not a multi million pound first team player. The next time he walks onto the pitch, he will be applauded by the home fans. This is football and we leave our morals at home in search of seeing our team win.Clapping for sending offs, anyone?
I'm also bitter about this because it was a early lesson about life and 'fairness' at school when I saw the best players who should have been in detention with me get that last chopper outta saigon while I stayed. So playing semi pro and they get off?!

It is fairly reflective of society in general though. It's not just football fans saying this is ok because of my team. It is reflected in other sports and walks of life. People are always being despicable and getting away with it because other people don't report it. Society functions less well the more you rely on the police to do the policing instead of the community.

Origi to Liverpool
Never heard of him
According to Dutch media his replacement is in place already. £8m is being mentioned for BMI.
