Pls not Pochettino, I actually quite like the man. Not least cos of his refusal to speak English and get dragged into all the media set-up bullshit.

Moreover? I'll wager?
Has he been taking classes while he's been away? -
• #102779
He speaks English perfectly well.

Better than Jack Wilshire and Jonjo Shelvey anyway...

Especially as he's from Chile...

I said "refusal" for a reason. He speaks English better than you read it.

Argentines really don't get on with Chileans and vice versa.

Calm down, love. It's only the football thread.

Remind me, how many trophies have Liverpool won since Torres has left? Is it more or less than he's won for club and country?
-

When all else fails we can always laugh at Tottenham. I can't waittoseethe next shambolic appointment. Please let it be Moyes and not Benny. He has far too much class for that club

But was that because or despite him.
I'm glad he's found the success he deserved, but you can't deny he's never hit the heights of his early years at Liverpool. He was gash in his last year for us, and hasn't been much better for you, except maybe last season.

Despite him, he's scored some key goals for us but not enough. When it comes down to buying injured strikers it's a bit like this.

And you only played about ten games all season...
...yeah with a squad that has not the benefit of CL money or subsequent buys for what, five years?

Rodgers did an excellent job at Liverpool, as did Martinez at Everton and Pulis at Palace. but the best manager this season was the one who won the league and the league cup - seems pretty straight forward to me.
You're right. Let's just save time and give it to the those that flout FFP by the biggest margin and stumble across the finish line only on the final day and celebrate hard.
P.S. How did the specialist in failure get this year?
This just in from Islington's favourite Toffee:
