Foxes to spunk £180m on players over the next three seasons?
to get in the top 5 ... they do know thats not a champions league position don't they ?
or do they just want to piss spurs off

Brenda voted manager of the year.
What an absolute nonsense. Don't suppose Pellegrini will be too fussed but he is clearly the winner of the award.
Pellegrini squeaked the title with a squad that should have won it at a canter. Not a bad first season I suppose but he failed to keep the team focused after winning the tin-pot cup and felt the pressure at key stages. Hard to say how he builds from there, next year will be a proper test of his management skills.
Rodgers did very well with probably only the 4th best squad in the league but did have one of the best first teams and some excellent luck avoiding significant injury problems. He also benefited from some spectacular capitulation, didn't have any interest in Europe, dropped out the cups meekly and generally got a bit of an easy ride.
Pulis probably deserves it the most, but he's a cunt.
Should have given it to Martinez, almost managed to get that comedy outfit into the big boy's European competition.

How did a manager who's side pissed away a perfectly good opportunity to win the league end up winning manager of the year?
Tim Swearword woz robbed. National treasure. The next Candleface.

• #102757
Fuck off with Martinez - he just polished Moyes' turd a bit.
Real talk: Pulis should have been nailed on for this.
Lord Ferg would have won this years league with City's B team.

You replacing pisti as the thread's bitter? 7th to 2 points off top on the final day with a spend of ZERO this season, without the rule bending financial doping of city. To say he was on a sticky wicket with LS constant antics, whilst Pellegrini/mcfc have the money to be able to kick Teves, Ballotteli et al out and simply buy more great players in. And like Tim correctly pointed out; he allowed jose to get under his normally serene skin. Brenda got carried away by the media driven hyperbole. Though I'd have been happy for Pullis to have gotten it.
Rodgers did an excellent job at Liverpool, as did Martinez at Everton and Pulis at Palace. but the best manager this season was the one who won the league and the league cup - seems pretty straight forward to me.

Well done Levy.
Sack statistically the best manager you've ever had because he's a bit of a berk but keep hold of Baldini who pissed £120m up the wall last summer.

Statistics or not - he was a fucking joke and everyone knew it. Arguing otherwise either means you are either:
A) Stupid
B) Being disingenuous -

Poyet did a pretty spectacular job. He should have been in the running with Pulis.
Rodgers just had a couple of strikers on fire who didn't get injured, Pellegrini had all the cash and all the players.

So which manager's job is more of a guarantee for career suicide, Spurs or Chelsea?
Sherwood's contract had a 6 month evaluation clause written into it. He really didn't do himself any favours did he?At least at Chelsea you get a nice handshake at the end of your reign.

Career suicide?
Has to be Newcastle. But given the choice, Spurs. Spurs take "promising" "want to make name for self" types. And turn them into "get me the fuck away" and "I'M NOT HARRY FUCKING REDKNAPP. JUST GIVE HIM BACK THIS JOB"
