  • Not that I give a shit about Ingerlund but leaving Cashley out is madness in my opinion...

Looking forward to Ingerlund getting knocked out in the group stage... Roll on the World Cup!

Is it Joe? I think it'll be beneficial for Chelsea that he gets some rest (providing he stays).

There's a few more players that he should keep at home but I doubt it that he'll do that. It's all about the younger players getting tournament experience in order for them to play more progressively in France 2016 or even the WC 2018.

  • I don't reckon TSO's gonna give him another contract... Whispers doing the rounds that he's going to Anfield... stabs eyes

  • now we get to look forward to you cunts bleating on about how much you don't care about the world cup.

    ... then watch it all.

  • Where?

  • Oops, that was meant to be a text... Stupid phone...

I don't care about Ingerlund, the World Cup is an awesome, beautiful thing tho'...

  • I enjoy World Cups. I enjoy them a lot more once England are out though.

  • I need to put a cheeky tenner on Belgium...

  • I'd save your money.

  • I know they won't win but hey... This is gonna be a fun tournament...

    Once Ingerlund are out...

  • I miss world cups when you could say things like "unbelievable attacking, dreadful goalkeeping/defending".

  • No place for Carrick in the England squad - seems a bit unlucky.
No place for John Ruddy either, which also seems a little unfair.

If Cleverley goes to the WC for England it will be top lols

    Dear God no.
    Gets the bleach ready.

  • I need to put a cheeky tenner on Belgium...

    How many times.
It will be won by a South American team. Hopefully Brazil

  • ^^ Really? Do u even clean sheet, bro?

Phil Jones looks likely to be in so it's already going to be top LOLs. Especially if our start striker is Rooney. We really do not stand a chance

  • Villa up for sale. Ru, what are your thoughts?

Well it adds a bit of excitement to the yentzing months.

If we can get a buyer who doesn't mortgage the fuck out of the club and can splash some transfer cash on more than youngsters with potential it'll be good.
Randy's early years were so hopeful with O'Neill and our rightful 6th place nailed on, but from there we should have pushed on to where Spurs / Everton are. The McLeish shambles was the nadir.

I'm just grateful we've managed to stay up for the last few seasons but every step forward has been matched by crap.
We need to get some experience and class in and to start getting consistent results - especially at home and against the mid-lower table sides.

We should not be where we've been for the last few seasons. Too big a club with too much history.

  • Too big a club with too much history.

    Oh fuck.
    The new Liverpool.

  • World Cup squad announced.

  • Goalkeepers: Joe Hart (Manchester City), Ben Foster (West Bromwich Albion), Fraser Forster (Celtic).

Defenders: Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Luke Shaw (Southampton), Chris Smalling (Manchester United).

Midfielders: Ross Barkley (Everton), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Southampton), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), James Milner (Manchester City), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal).

Attackers: Rickie Lambert (Southampton), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), Danny Welbeck (Manchester United).

Standby: John Ruddy (Norwich City), Jon Flanagan (Liverpool), John Stones (Everton), Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Andy Carroll (West Ham United), Jermain Defoe (Toronto FC).

  • Shame for Flanno, but maybe something will work out

  • Jermain Defoe's move worked well for him then.

  • To be fair, he had an amazing start for TFC, then has been injured, and we've been shit since.

Did just beat Montreal in the Canadian Championship, so things are looking up

  • My starting 11, from that squad
    Hart
    Johnson - Cahill - Jags - Baines
    Gerrard
    Henderson - Wilshire
    Sterling - Sturridge - Lallana

  • Oh, the season is over, when is Pisti back?

  • Your season is over yes. Some of us have something to play for this season.
