I have the Woodford Reserve. I was underwhelmed tbh.

Are there any decent whiskey bars around that aren't shit pubs, whence we could all get together and get pretentiously wasted?

Interested in this though.

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Have to be let in by a member though and I think each member can only get 2 in.

it's 4 normally, but around Christmas it's 2 as it's busier etc

I'm not sure I'd have any blend rubbing shoulders with singlemalts, but there you go.

I'm into the Suntory Whisky at the mo... actually have been since I got back from Japan last year.
I find It's hard to get good ones here though.

whiskey exchange @ London Bridge, or on-line are normally pretty good.as is the japan centre in piccadilly and i think waitrose has it on the shelf.......
