  • i would look at the dakine low roller. cheap ish but very durable and comes in long lengths that may fit skis. i use mine as one bag for short trips as you can get board boots kit and clothes in one bag.

  • ok sound good. I have a dakine bag for my board, so guess it makes sense

  • (I have no idea, legit question....)
Could you use the board bag?

  • Aren't skis longer?

  • Anybody in Morzine/Les Gets/Avoriaz Feb 7th-18th?

  • Might go for a cheeky long weekend in Morzine...

  • Close, Chamonix 7-10th Feb!

  • Off to St Anton on Sunday yay yay yay :D

it snowed today, and more due next week :D :D

  • Take a transceiver. The pack was a little unstable when I was out there.
(super Jealous- its basically been snowing since NY).

  • X-games real snow http://xgames.espn.go.com/events/2014/aspen/real/match/10289775/dan-brisse-vs-eiki-helgason

Pretty hard to separate anyone! DB's b/s 180 off the roof kicker....balls of solid rock

  • roof gap to wallride down the vert was more ballsy IMO

  • Chamonix booked 8th march. Not been there before... Any advice for boarders. More freeride / natural terrain rather than park orientated.

  • Currently watching Chalet Girl.

  • Oh god

  • Chamonix - if you are a strong intermediate or above try and join a snowboard guided group going up the Vallee Blanche. We took pretty much the main route other than taking a diversion for a field of fresh powder. that route is not especially hard but it is beautiful views and a good long run. There is a long pole out at the end though. (Yes, pole).

Arrived in St Anton today. Not been up yet but the lower slopes are BARE! Brown earth where this time last year I was in thigh high snow. I've splashed out on a private guide for Tuesday so hopefully things are looking better higher up.

    Really missing Avoriaz.

  • But that's not Avoriaz - there are trees :) is that the view down to les prodains? not really sure. Snow looks really good.

Have a look a few pages back where cham was compared with other options.

  • View from the apartment, deffo in avoriaz!

  • Tranquilo, tranquilo....simply a light hearted jest about the height/monstrosity of Avoriaz. Was just interested if you knew where the apartment was facing. Didn't think you could see over to Ardent/Chatel from any of the apartments there...looks like you're looking out over Prodains/Morzine/Les Gets.

  • It's the apartments below the large snow park, the run pictured eventually gets to the bottom of the proclou lift that runs out of the picture to the right.

  • Best place in Central Lon to buy bindings?

(Yes I'll hit up 'your' shop Indra...)

  • I was only there for summer :) what bindings you lookin for?

  • Union Womens Trilogy but despite midget feet, I need Med and can't find em online. Was going to go in and touch & try some see how they feel and see if I can get away with SML.

  • has to be halfpipe no? westbourne park not exactly central but i bet they have them in and its at least rider owned/run. bikes upstairs too http://www.halfpipelondon.com
