I rock grenade park gloves all season everywhere and they survive anything.
Brining them to Norway on Saturday. -

Just got back from epic 4 days in Chamonix. Base is amazing.
Picture a chairlift, all the way top to bottom, off piste, all powder, all very accessible.
Top mountains - Les Grands Montets & Brevent.Go now!

So jealous. I went to meribel a few years ago, and I'd love to go back.
Unfortunately limited funds mean I'm off to Bulgaria (Borovets). Its the first time I'll have been skiing in a proper resort in the east block.... so I'll be interested to see what it's like.

Good to hear you had a good time Manda,
I know I'm missing you're epic pics on instagram, hopefully Norway can live up to last year but I highly doubt it. -

Norway! Have a great trip!! Haven't been but maybe next yr.
Oh I also need a new board, recommendations?
Yes im tempted by the unions you posted... -
• #482
Well do you ride park?
Definitely go for unions, toughest and best looking bindings ever.
Pretty light too. -
• #483
No. Well, I want to. Maybe.
I got no one to teach me and i'm a scardy cat... -
• #484
Capita make some good female specific boards and go well with unions...
-

No. Well, I want to. Maybe.
I got no one to teach me and i'm a scardy cat...I would teach you, Capita and union really do go well together, that's what Scott Stevens rides.
Also Gnu make some good women's boards but they're priced higher.
I've always loved Rome boards myself. -

bah I got ONE day this year. At least it hasn't broken my 33 year streak ... I'll admit it's weird being in India during ski season

I got 2 and a half then 6 days in French hospital last year, hoping not to repeat this year! Getting the messed up plate removed (cut out) from my clavicle next week...
Then a few weeks to heal and back on the mountain in March, Val Thorens, rode my 2nd ever week there. Excited to go back with some real skills and have a look round. And hoping there is some good snow.

Good luck TM, I'm doing a similar thing over easter hopefully, I've been asked to Chamonix with my friend, I went there my 3rd ever time back in 2004 and can remember a lot about it, I wanna own it this time.
Only problem is that I heard the park's shit. -

Only problem is that I heard the park's shit.We should switch, VT park looks radasfuck, but I really don't do park.
^^ mawww good luck! Nice pic.
Cheers, hoping it goes ok. Bit nervous actually but am sure it'll be fine, I've got a surgeon I am very confident in.
Also, OP is on Tues and getting inked on Thurs morning so best go to plan! Figured I'd combine healing...

Would!
I love pow and park, I only really ride park so I can throw big 3's and 5's off back country kickers.
Best memory ever is probably a big 360 nose grab in whistler's flute powder bowl. -
• #494
I'm in La Plagne - 9 Mar for a week! Meet in the middle?!
Show-off Indra!
Well, I only really ride pow... :P

That's me!
There should be a forum snowboard (And maybe ski) trip some time! -

I'm not built to spin, the height of my style would be dropping "3's" into powder, buttery "3's" and 2 or 3 accidental front flips in deep snow where I landed back on my board...
mad steez

Every year I organise my quick and dirty chamonix long weekend trip.
Cheap hostel, self catering if needed, hire cars for convenience, 2 days off around a weekend = 4 full days on slopes. Happy to organise similar for forum. Next yr? -

Nice, spinning feels a bit odd to me too but in the next two year i wanna progress to 7's and 9's, that'd be fucking sick.
I've yet to make it inverted successfully though :(.,bcvEvery year I organise my quick and dirty chamonix long weekend trip.

Next yr?That's good although somewhere like Avoriaz is good if you don't want cars (there are none) it will work out a bit more though but it's a damn great place with HUGE ridable area with no walking or driving needed to get riding. 5 easily accessed parks, tons of pow traps and cliff drops if that floats ya boat.

cliff drops...Gonna have to up my skillz to hang out wit-choo!

Only small, no 25 meter drops for me! A 2.5 meter got me shaken up enough lol
These are truly bombproof- kinco 901- survived a full season of ski patrol duties, still going strong. And warm too.
Not fashionable mind, but fucking ace nonetheless.
