What size do you need? I lent my mate some burton missions but I think he's got unions now so they're up for grabs. I think they're a large.

I've got some Rome 390 Boss
I'm gonna give switchbacks a go i think with a global warmer. I really like the look of that new Union toestrap, but I don't like the bindings they're on...next year. Also large.

Anyone watched any of this years vids yet? Wanted to watch pat moore's mr plant after his stand out sections last year, but missed it on RBTV. Was about to watch the new pirate crew movie on iTunes...anyone seen it?

Mr. Plant was good, I always enjoy watching Pat lose his shit after a couple of bails.

So I got back from a weekend at Landgraaf SnowWorld yesterday. As "the world's largest indoor slope" it was pretty impressive and had a crazy park setup too. Thought I wouldn't hit a single object initially, but after a few runs I was happily hitting boxes, the bibby and the kicker. Super fun weekend.

Stay Badass was pretty nuts. Full on board porn. I think it should be quite a contrast from Higher! Anyone else seeing it in Union Chapel tonight?

What setups are people riding this season?
I'm keeping my Union force bindings and forum musket boots but moving to a stiffer board for once, the endeavour clout. Hoping I like it, I usually go for a really flexy board but felt I was missing pop and sure landings as I started hitting bigger stuff.
And don't you know it's living-room jib season :)

Does anyone on here use quick wax/speed wax/wax that isn't actually wax wax?
Is it worth it?

Such as?
In the past i've used the toko red and blue depending on conditions. Never fails. Though will always buy butta in future http://www.butta.co.uk

such as

or
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zardoz-Not-Wax-Pocket-Puck/dp/B000HWW086I might give that Butta rub on stuff a go. I'd like to wax my board mid trip but really don't want to take an iron.

there used to be that toko liquid stuff, but a lot of the teflon containing stuff is deemed bad for the environment so there are now more green options available. rub on is the way to go and a scraper. i'm so lazy - if my board needs real work i'll just put it in overnight somewhere in resort. usually cheap and shops open early so pretty convenient and usually well done.

Ended up with a few blocks of butta from some jam at Hemel a few years ago and never really used them.
I think mine are standard melt on, they smell so strong I had to store them in sealed glass jars.
Might break one out to try on my old board this year.
The rub on liquid Teflon stuff is really good for a few days but not great for the environment and quite expensive.

Hey peeps, I'm a newbie (been twice but picked it up relatively quick as I used to skateboard back in the day and still do abit). Just picked this up and wondering if you think I got a decent deal? I paid £140
"Lib Tech Magne Traction 156 + K2 sonic bindings" I think it's a 2007 model. That top sheet was a custom vinyl which I've removed and has revealed a pretty spotless surface.

First trip for the season booked - Les arcs in Feb for my birthday. CAN NOT WAIT. Will have to get some trips in before and after though.
Any tips for a new board? I'm not that into terrain parks and freestyle but I do like a good fast board. Good for carving on and off piste. I haven't bought a board for ages so out of the loop.
Anyone got any bindings the want to flog me? After some new ones.
