  • been skating flip sidecuts (same set) for years

  • that's a point, what kind of board companies do people really like/hate?

  • I love Chocolate & Girl decks.

  • enjoi!
love my enjoi deck so much.
and my first ever deck when i was about 12 was a pig deck, i loved that deck so much.
and yes, jambon, flip sidecuts are fucking awesome!
i should really put mine back on.

  • another question- what hardware companies do we all like?
    trucks, bolts, bearings etc.

  • fav boards: black label
    Trucks: indy
bolts: no idea, aslong as they are allens
    bearings: bones swiss

  • Chocolate deck
Venture trucks (don't like the weight of Indys)
    Blueprint wheels
    Bones Redz

Anyway, it's more about the rider... not the board...

  • Favourite deck I ever had in terms of construction was from a small company called Lethol, crazy amount of pop! As for trucks, I like Thunders although Destrcutos are pretty good too. Never really ridden anything except good ol fashioned shop blanks when it comes to wheels, had some spitfires for a bit but couldnt tell enough of a difference to warrant the extra cash.

  • Ive been riding my British made athirdfoot for fucking years. The bastard just wouldn't snap.

  • deak i just bought whatever with a deep concave, though board that felt best for me if i remember was a Zoo York, just seemed right,
Trucks - Venture, had the same set for ten years now haha but i never did grind concrete.
wheels - Ricta, got a pair for cheep cos they where mis pours, lasted years and well and i powerslide everything
bearrings - teh £1 ones, never anything else, if i want to go fast i push more,

  • Trucks - Venture, had the same set for ten years now haha but i never did grind concrete.

Ha, I was gonna say, I have absolutely KILLED some pairs of trucks. I still have an old Thunder that was so ground down it looked like it was gonna snap in two places. I'll take a pic soon. Hubbas fuck yeah.

  • Indies are great for that full speed thrash and attack style but they weigh a tonne

Vans are making some Yo Gabba Gabba (a US kiddies tv show) collab shoes, and have produced some videos to celebrate.
This is one is a direct take-off of Lance Mountain in the Bones Brigade video show of '84, and is awesome.

There's also a bmx one, but I know bugger all about bmx.

  • Any board with massive kicks just over 8''. Indys and 52's is my weapon of choice! I'm picking up a frame off Turd Ferguson this sat so gonna squeeze in an ice cold sesh at Mile End if anyone is about? I'm tall, ginger and like to complain about not being 20 anymore and hurty knees. Oh, and skating a brand new Krooked deck. Come say hi for 2's ;)

  • I know bugger all about bmx.

All you need to know right there...

  • Mile end this afternoon anyone?

  • would if i lived near there!

  • There's a new Kilian Martin (that freestyle guy) video out. Technically very good; both skating and filmography.

  • I came here just to post that Killian Martin video, the bullshit he pulls of at 2:30 is unreal.

  • Cody Mac - smooth like a Twinkie filling…

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVujRTEz6s8"]YouTube
    - Cody McEntire Thrasher Double Rock[/ame]

  • ss tre to reg was good.

  • No offense but I really dont get all this 80s revival stuff, skateboarding has progressed a fair bit in the last 20 years if I want to watch people ollie over traffic cones and pull wall taps Ill dig out an old powell vid.
    Just my 2 pence
