these are the forks - they are not original but have very similar lugs.

    this is the frame itself.

this is where you can see the original blue paint that is still intact, underneath the white.

it will come with BB, headset cups and original headbadge.
sorry about the quality of the pictures - if you need any more just ask.

I'm goig to check on Sunday if they fit my pink polo horse. If not they're yours, would it help you any if I bought them off Dan anyway and transported them to Cov - or does that not help in any way?

  • Anyone need a sofa?

It was terracotta coloured but is a bit faded. But is still very comfy and structurally sound. Has washable covers. Will seat 3-4 people £free

  • Did you get it from a charity shop? We had a terracotta one (faded from salmon) some charities will pick them up for free as long as it is flame retardant.

  • No, it was bought new from Sofa workshop a good few years ago. It has lasted pretty well except for the fading. Had one of those charities turn up today only to reject it!

Apparently it was too faded so they would have difficulty selling it. A bit ridiculous, as its still well comfy. Got pics if you are interested.

  • They probably wont fit :P
I can get some marathon plus's for £20 each from my friends shop but he doesn't have wide enough in stock for me
    but yeah I want them!

They will fit - but you can have them if you really want them.

Pedals with straps now sold - well swapped for some swish Shimano flats

  • @ daylightbombings - shall I bring them to drinks on Friday?

  • Old Peugeot Equipe for sale - would make a decent beater, polo bike (for someone quite tall), geared winter ride. Got it a while ago while I was building up another bike and have no use for it anymore.

Frame: 60 cm centre to centre, both seat tube and top tube. It is made of Carbolite 103, ie. nothing special. It does have cable routing through the top tube, which is nice touch. The paintwork is chipped, but I have found no dents or cracks.
    Stem: 110 mm quill.
Wheels: old 27" wheels wrapped in old gumwall Michelin tyres. Clearances are very tight with those on, so I'm guessing 700c wheels would fit reasonably well.
Saddle: horrible. But it has a seatpost, and I understand they are kind of rare.
Others: Simplex derailleur and cranks. Lyotard pedals (one slightly damaged, both work ok). Weinmann brakes.

50 quid? Pick up from Digbeth, or I can meet you anywhere in the city centre. More pics after the jump.

  • ^ Peugeot listed above provisionally sold pending pick up.

  • Yeah dan sounds good, what colour are they? black?
It'd be good to not have painful wrists after riding aha

  • Black middle, grey sides.

  • yeah so 700 x 38c? can never find any that size and i don't think 42's will fit the rear of my frame
