• #3062
Do you have an old quill stem DFP? I'm after one to fit some 1" forks with a 25.4/26mm clamp. I have a centre-pull I could trade you for it...
-
• #3063
The stem is so that I can fit these bad-boys!
In order to put these on I'm going to have to cut the current stem in half cos it's siezed in there. Can anyone help me out?
-
• #3064
It doesnt look like there is a stem attached, please elaborate..
I probably have a stem but it is such a chore to look for it. What kind of length are you after?

I'm swapping forks over and I need a stem in order to use these forks. I would just use the one that is current on the bike, but it is siezed into the steerer so to swap them over I will have to cut it in half. Any size really, about 100mm would be good though.

Anyone have a 90mm ahead stem (black, 10 deg if poss)? Also some black lock-on grips? I have a 105mm stem and some oversize flat Easton bars (580mm, 3 deg) for swaps too. Both black, as good as new.

Possible polo bike. £50
Very very sturdy (al be it somewhat heavy). Comes fitted with Kenda K-Rad tyres which are for all intents and purposes the same as DMR motos. Good tyres.
Frame & Forks steel. Geometry is a bit strange in that the rigid fork is super long, as if it were a long travel suspension fork. So gives you a laid back cruisery position. Not sure if this is good or bad for polo. You can fit a brake on front and rear though which is good.
Wheels have 14mm solid axles. 36 spoke.
Faults; needs new top part of headset and star nut. Also the brakes need mucho adjustment and probably new cables.

Cheap, strong and very very long. Looks like good value, but would need some tinkering for polo, but potentially a good newbie bike.

I have a spare 14mm 48h hub with freewheel attached also. In case you want to build up a spare wheel.
