FML I have written and re-written out this post so many times and then lost it that I give up now. I have to get rid of alot of my stuff ASAP, including my road bike which I think is best to break down because it's quite a mix-match of parts now:
Shimano Sora 9 speed STI shifters (less than one year old!) £50
Shimano 105 square taper double 170mm crankset w/ chainrings £20
Shimano 105 SLR Super brake calipers F + R £20
Suntour Superbe Pro NJS Keirin pedals £20
Chrome Christophe cages and white leather straps (worn) £5
Shimano Deore hub on Mavic rim front wheel £30
Shimano Deore hub on Mavic rim rear wheel w/8 speed cassette (pretty worn) £40
Shimano 105 front derailleur with Condor clamp-on band (31.8 I think) £5
Shimano Sora brand new 2011 rear derailleur (short cage) £15Spares:
Black Tektro LH brake lever £2
Silver Tektro rear brake caliper/no pads or nuts £2.50
SR 80mm quill stem £5
Black Ritchey 100mm ahead stem (is this yours Neil!?)
Black ITM 120 mm ahead stem £5
Silver deep drop bars £10
" lo-rise bars £5
" bullhorns £5
" Oxford/town bars £5I also have my Raleigh step-through frame (provisionally dibs'ed by Dubmaster) and the pink Giant road frame, both of which I'd happily take miniscule offers for in the hopes of them going ASAP... pictures to come and I'll measure clamp sizes, etc tomorrow. PM's only please!

Anyone fancy this -** British Eagle rigid MTB - Reynolds 531 £80 for locals** - 15/15.5'' Frame (tbh, a little small for me at 5'7'') Figured might make a good polo whip? Will chuck in a set of slick schwalbe city jet tyres, 22tooth chainring, sprockets and a spare chain so you can change the gearing as you like, Otherwise would make a good pub bike/beater or nice little MTB if you like, it's lots of fun bombing around the canals on it. Reynolds 531 frame so not to heavy either Just given it a service and a clean and is in good working order. Selling to fund project x.

Yeah Tom. Prime candidate for a cut and shut like I saw Oak Cycles do. Take 20-40mm off the top tube and you pretty much have what I've ordered from Marino*.
*not quite

I'd be interested to see that Dan. Where are the pics?
-
• #2822
Err, dunno. I think it's in the 'polo bikes' thread a few months ago... Some London player had a jump frame cut down.
