Graffiti artists

Athens is the most graffitied city I’ve seen , I think the word is Greek derived, so they have history on their side … some name scratched into some stones on the wall around the Parthenon….. no chance these days as the Acro’police’ keep a watchful eye .

I love the old scratched stuff graff from the ages! I'm always fascinated by that you see it in churches and cathedrals here in the uk. That blue and black doodle style stuff is great

Can’t remember if I’ve posted about this…

Also can’t remember how i start to follow this guy on Instagram, Cibo but love what he does.
He paints food related pieces over any Nazi/facist/far right graffiti he finds in Italy especially anything near schools. His unrelenting pursuit of covering of the vile, hate spreading pieces even when his work is recovered by yet more swastika and the like he returns to cover again with innocent joy filled pieces of food.

Love that guys work he is brilliant

It’s his unrelenting want to cover and of the hate filled bile not with anything politicised but just joy filled art of sumptuous food that all Italians will love.

I think.

His line control is so good. And the message is perfect.

That’s making me want to try some outlines! I was trying to remember the last time I drew any words, let alone painted them on a wall.

My daughters had the felt tips out. Literally the first time I’ve had a pop at anything vaguely graffiti-related since I flounced out of the scene many years back :-D

Like it, especially the A. Maybe try making the cross bar of the E a bit smaller? (similar to on the A).

Yeah looks a bit clunky compared to the rest also maybe get it so it mirrors the angle of tbe A👍

I always admired the guy in that film that says “I go to work for one reason and one reason only - to get paid”. And I remember seeing his throw up everywhere. Just did a bit of googling and it’s not until now I’ve realised it’s Eine.
