One of heythrope works in the hammersmith cyclesurgery, but I doubt they'll be allowed to put things up (pm heythrope? Also might be good to get them to stick it up somewhere at their Uni?), I think a couple of Putney cycles employees used to play... But I don't actually know where the shop is!

South = Dragon
North = Phoenix
West = ?The new coat of arms of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea whose symbols reflect the history of both boroughs. These include the blue boar of the de Veres, the silver-winged bull representing St Luke, patron saint of Chelsea, a bishop's mitre for St Mary Abbots and a broom representing Brompton. The motto Quam Bonum in Unum Habitare is the opening words of the 133rd Psalm in Latin and translates as 'What a good thing it is to dwell in unity'.

Also, i'm still on the Chelsea Peddlers mailing list from when the LPC represented at the grass polo tournament a few years ago...
I got this email yesterday...
'Hi all,
RBKC are keen to get hardcourt polo going in the borough.
They've booked a floodlight pitch at Westway Sports Centre for ten weeks starting this Wednesday 14th 6pm-10pm.
They are providing hardcourt mallets and a couple of bikes so if possible you need to bring a suitable bike.
There should be some hardcourt aficionados about to help us get to grips with hardcourt rules and techniques.
Hope to see you there'

I gave posters out on Saturday at Halfpipe, Fudges, Evans (they said they would put it up in the staffroom), a place on All Saints Road, a bike "trader" in the market, a few cafes, etc.
I'll be there for 7pm, no earlier.

thats so pathetically close to my house i might have to go. it means football on a wednesday will have to fall out the calendar....
I know the lbs's well around here. i'll print out some flyers and throw them up in the shops and better bars/cafes.
Sof is a producer at the BEEB so i'l get her to put it in there news letter. they are just over the way.FWIW there is the perfect space for a court under the flyover next to the BBC white city offices.

just after i got off the train at twickenham, my rear tyre and tube exploded (thank jeebus not a moment sooner), and it just adds to the list of things i dont, and wont be able to afford for a while
We need the loaner mallets from under the Orwell, some balls (I have enough I reckon) and some players.
