I like the DC concept - supposed to be replacement for the defender, not a countryman rival - looks, awesome in the flesh, I saw it at Goodwood a couple of months back on a photo shoot.
No matter what cr you get, if you live in London and are 17 you are fucked one way or another - if you have the cash insure it in your own name, as at least that way you will build up some no claims which willmgetmthe costs down sooner than being a named driver.
I would look at getting a second hand Panda 100hp - best fun little car with cheap insurance by a mile, will shit on the mini.

Another Audi one.
Service at Tour de Corse, 1984. As you can see from this photo, this was the debut event for the Audi Sport Quattro, Walter Rohrl tried a sole SWB car. -

Hey I need some advice. I've just brought my Mum a Mini Cooper (2004) for her 60th Birthday which is March next year. However my mum is a petrol head and i'd like to have it pumped up similar to what Brabus (www.brabus.com) do, only UK based. Im not really knowledgable regarding the current modification scene so can anyone recommend a suitable company. The closer to London the better.

Nurse Holiday would be your man (or woman, in the spirit of not being discriminatory) for that one.

PM Nurse Holiday, he knows a fair bit about the new mini scene.

Dammit, Nurse Holiday is male.

Are you sure? He does have girly hair
Buy one new enough and you'll have a Chevy.
Your first car should be a shit/meh car. Then it can only get better. You learn to appreciate what a real car feels like instead of these overly assisted oversize boxes
