  • If you are sure it's wrong then from outside with the door open, slide the sticky in bit (buckle) as low as possible then rotate the belt above it and start lifting the buckle up while feeding the belt twist through. Soapy water might help too.

  • Or new car time!!

  • Wasn't this always going to be the problem and the exact reason why Teslas real value vs stock price was a joke?

When there was no competition they had a clear advantage. When the competition was vastly inferior they had an advantage. Now there are a number of other cars with more brand cache and equally good range life is harder.

I'm not that up on the EV market, but from what I can see the charging network is the only advantage Teslas have left. That's not insignificant though. If I won the (regular) lottery tomorrow I'd likely buy a Tesla purely on the infrastructure and self driving.

  • Have they not been told to share their charging network with others now?

  • Ah!

    That makes sense.

  • Tesla in Sweden?

  • Has anyone here had the clutch on their Mk1 Countryman (petrol if that matters) replaced recently and have a ballpark for parts/labour? I’m going to call around for quotes tomorrow anyway but fancied something to worry about tonight.

  • Is this happening in the UK?

  • Not sure- I may be making it up, let me see if I can find some evidence.

  • I looked into this when we went to view a couple. I think i saw £700ish with a indie in South London. You have to remove the subframe so its a PITA

  • how long does it take for the French ulez sticker to arrive? I am driving on Saturday, is it too late to order one now?

  • Mine took about two and a half weeks

  • oof, this is the closest I am going to Paris, would I need it?

  • Might be worth double checking if buying it is sufficient, or if you 100% need it displayed.

I feel like when we went to Lile it didn't arrive in time. And for Ghent(?) we didn't need a physical one.

  • Do you mean if my vehicle is already Euro 6 (which it is) I wont need to display a sticker?

  • You don't need to display one if you're just following the Périphérique.

Basically, don't go inside that line and you're all good.

  • No, I mean that if you're registered and haven't yet received your sticker is that good enough? Idk. A bit like certain boroughs with their residents parking permits - where you don't get a ticket if you haven't yet received the physical sticker.

    But also what Soul said.

  • Thinking of buying a toyota corolla but it has 18” wheels. Heard it can be harsher ride. Only have experience of Polos & golf’s with 16” wheels. Mainly used for long distances across country. Do not care about a ‘sporty’ ride. Should I sack it off? Or will it not make that much difference? Cheers.

  • Replace the 18s with 16s 👍

  • Dans l’attente, cette facture vous permet de justifier de votre démarche et du classement de votre véhicule."

I'm still waiting for the sticker (since 3rd June) but, I think this bit of the email says that I'm still ok to go if I have the attached pdf confirmation. That email took about 2 days to come through.
Might be worth checking if that is indeed the case.

  • "in the interim, this invoice is proof of the steps you've taken and of the classification of your vehicle" - close enough as a freeish translation

  • If you’re sure that the 16s will clear the callipers etc.

  • Is that expensive to do? I did see that.
@Nef yes would check more in depth. I did see it def can take 17”.
