If you have a wire brush and a pair of pliers pull a "hair" from the brush and straighten it out the with the pliers poke it into the jet. Cheap and nasty £1 shop wooden handled brushes are excellent.

Great tip. Will dig out one of my wire brushes.

Round my way out east. They even left the crow bar on the back seat

Damn. That's the kind of thing I used to see in Colombia back in the early 90s.

As already mentioned, a needle or thinner wire, or remove and soak in descaler.
Also check the washer bottle for contamination, some are prone to a fungal growth build up in the washer fluid, it goes like cotton wool and accumulates at the pump inlet slowing the flow to a dribble, you have to remove the bottle and clean out with bleach solution, usually renew the filter if it has one. -

Are PHEV doors a thing?

So I had a prod at the jets, nothing. And then about 30 seconds of half hearted, but actual spraying, but now it’s just dribbling out of the nozzles. Ffs.

Check for kinks in the pipes.
Also, see a doc 😂😂 -

As mentioned earlier you may need to run a hose in your bottle to flush it or take the pump and bottle out to flush it. Once you got the goo out of the bottle it will get better quickly.

Having had a look at the second hand market, current front runner for our car is a Ford C-Max. As they seem to be unpopular and unfashionable they're much better value than most SUVs. They seem to have a pretty good amount of space for the size and a fairly high driving position for my wife. Does anyone have any experience with the C-Max?
-
• #74364
I am regularly seduced by the practicality of the cmax, lol.
-
• #74365
Yeah it ticks lots of boxes.

• #74366
that actually looks good! VW Touran ?
maybe @stevo_com has a c-max?
-
• #74367
Yeah we did look at the Touran my Wife feels it's too big. A 5 seat MPV rather than a 7 seat is the preferred size.

not a huge diff though, big diff in fuel economy/emissions as vw is heavier

I have no firsthand experience, I am just living through you! I fucking love a dull small MPV, thats my jam. Ideally 8 years old at least.

My BiL has one. He's the sort of person who's does lots of research and is very value driven. His other car is an OG Yeti.

Needs to be the one with sliding doors on the rear, titanium trim. Although I feel like I’m misremembering as I can’t see that many with the sliding doors.
The grand c max is a bit bigger if you want more room too. The practicality is arousing.

Definitely got fluid in the tank? It’s the kind of thing I’d forget

Lfgss: brakeless converted road frames to 2nd hand MPVs. Can't wait to see where we are in 15yrs time.

I’ve had a fixie revival tbf. Although it’s about as MPV as a fixie can be. Practicality is sexy now.

That’s how I noticed they were blocked. Thought it was empty but went to top up but tank was brimmed!
well tbh it moved fast enough for me. it was my big brothers car and he let me drive it around a desserted car park when I was 15 years old.
@paininthe - enjoyed reading that dude.
my first car was a GT. Citroen Visa flavoured mind but it I am pretty sure it had a go faster stripe so must have been pretty quick
