i'd probably need to buy another b, slice it lengthways and widen mine.

Use enough vaseline and we could squeeze it in. Maybe convert to front leafs and a solid axle, jack that puppy right up....MG Gasser....

just do it all in one go. that's where i fucked up. mine had sat for about the same time. i drove until something went, then fixed it (although, if one part went, i replaced the whole lot - brake hoses, etc). i should have just gone through and changed EVERYTHING rubber and all of the consumables before even driving it. instead i would do one or two a payday, but they seemed to rack up quicker than i could cross them off the list. it just feels like the car is always broken down.

ok, mates xj6 with ls1 is up and running (off to exhaust shop today for twin 2.5" system, hiflow cats, muffler and rear resinator each side, plus h pipe), all electrics and guages etc done. turned out pretty good, still a couple things to do, permanent fixture for ECU and do an OTR CAI, swap the diff for 3.33 lsd, put the air con back on.

The RCZ 200 also out-handles a Focarse ST (or whichever fast focus it was with a bit more bhp)
