  • The double wheels at the back are called strong pulls or something similar. Some incredible videos of them pulling big expensive shit on YouTube. On phone so no posting here.

  • Duallies?

  • (not that we'll see BRM there anyway, hidden away.)

    Ooh.

  • Srsly? They have never returned anything like a reasonable quote on any occasion I have called them. Don't know of anyone who found them to be the value they purport to be.

+1 it would seem you need to fit a very specific criteria for AF to be competitive. HIC are dicks overall, and one of their underwriters, Equity Red Star, who I was insured with are massive cunts. I'm with SKY Insurance at the moment and they are not only friendly on the phone, they know their modified car shit, and they are helpful when dealing with a claim. I think it helps that my underwriter is Chaucer too, who have been great.

Tiny bootspace in the polo estate.

How about an old passat? the 1.8 petrol is the same as the golf GTi but cheaper to insure. Quick enough and pain cave big on the inside.

Passat estates are fucking sweet. Set of £200 hottuning coilovers and you wouldn't believe how quick a 1.8 estate could hustle down a B road.

I'd get one of these -

Cheaper as nobody wants a Skoda. You have to pay scene tax on VW stuff

For a reason. It's all well and good if you're a contractor or labourer, but if you care even 1% about aesthetics you won't be able to look at that with any sort of lust.

    Anyone going to Goodwood Revival?

HELL YES. Can't decide what era to dress up as. From the photos I've seen over the years the 1920s to 40s seem to be most popular but I fancy 50s.

My Mini is being picked up on Tuesday by a Mini specialist called Mini Craft who will be using it as a loaner and for NA development.

Farewell, Norman! We had some epic times. From taking Paddock Hill Bend at 80mph with the back end out, through hanging on the back of a 997 GT3 RS for at least 5 miles of the 'Ring, all the way to understeering onto the verge on the wrong side of the road at 02:00 on an unlit B road back when I first got you and you were a virgin pup fresh out of the hands of a W London yuppie.

Not to worry though, as soon as the car is on the low loader I'm hot footing it to Edinburgh to pick up my next car. Gonna get my 90s PIMP on! He's yet to be named.

  • surely you have to name him after one of the members of JLS.

as its a 90s dealer car id go for Marvin.

  • Ha! Good idea.

  • tempted to actually sort my license out and buy one of these

  • Oh and bigger tyres give them issues with suspension bushes I loved the 525 manual. Its long enough and powerful enough to power slide with comfort and pleany of control.

  • technically a ford v12 ;)

  • Just seen this...

Interesting, I wonder how they balanced it

  • that was at goodwood

  • Cool as fuck. Altho, safety might be an issue.

Theoretically you could make a 'life pod' strapped to a chassis. Superstrong etc.

    Then again

  • Saadat....need more pics.

Quality motor, gonna fit right in around chez dude.

  • Jung.

Has your fabricator finished making up your bill yet? ;)

  • Yup. Outrageous. Getting very bored of all these twits.

  • technically a ford v12 ;)

    Not that one.

They replaced it with a Ford BOSS 302 V8 to make room for the four wheel drive system for the ice chase, and the rocket launcher effects.

They could do 120 MPH in drive or in reverse!

  • i have inally sorte (almost) the mg. new rad/waterpump has sorted the cooling issues, just in time for hillbilly's wedding.

now for the timing issue. hb or timing chain is the culprit.

  • Yup. Outrageous. Getting very bored of all these twits.

    Name and shame.
