I’ll start the bidding at £500

thanks! maybe a bit smaller than wed like for something gna keep for anlong tike but will look them up a bit more
-
• #53354
£200 you say?..
-
• #53355
Think brickman is closer to the price, if anything a bit conservative. It is tempting to purchase and punt on with the scratch and alloy fixed.
-
• #53356
Great minds.

We got £2.5k for ours (same age but diesel) when it was written off at 75k
-
• #53358
Hence my temptation to offer 2.5k and punt on.
But that is not forum friendly IMO.
-
• #53359
Hence why it was a (tongue firmly in cheek) bid. You never know!
-
• #53360
I took it as such. Sorry if it didn't come across just chatter.

Do all cars have to have those standard seatbelt clip in points? Even really fancy ones?
-
• #53363
IIRC it’s an ISO standard, but Tesla did some wrangling to get away with using a black release instead of a red one (at least US spec)
Edit: almost — https://jalopnik.com/heres-why-teslas-dont-have-red-seat-belt-buttons-1783519530

Some of mine don't, but they do have 6 point racing harnesses with central release buckles. Much safe, little practical.

My first car a 1978 mk1 golf didn’t.
It had no buckle on the belt, you had to loop the belt under a bar you then push down to secure. I loved them -

Last call for my 159 Sportwagon before I trade it in to a dealer to end the saga :(
140,000miles
2.4JTDM Q-Tronic 200bhp
Lusso spec
Android headunitCar is running and driving beautifully. Pains me to see it go but new NOX tax in Ireland makes cost of transferring the registration to Irish reg unfeasible. Currently in Ireland but I can deliver anywhere in mainland UK (possibly some expenses if you're in a particularly far flung destination)
I'll take £1750 for a forum sale.

Even when BMW don't need a grille (no radiator) they retain their ugly one.

Don’t they have a lot of sensors there? Meaning they do need it...?
New ones are pretty ugly though.

Just like the Tesla then.

Tesla rely more on cameras and place their sensors in the mirror cluster.
