They don't do subtle in Miami

Thought the P1 looked brilliant but that style never translated well across the lesser models, just looks dense and back-heavy where the P1 was all undulating and flowing like sheets draped over a frame

Prefer the wheels on the first one , second one is all disc on view

This is one of the reasons I dislike black wheels

Not overkill. You've got plenty to put in it and an estate with cruise control will be a much nicer drive on those long motorway days than a golf/hatchback.

I want an estate now. Drove my mums auto touring Merc the other day- so nice. Shame it's a Mercedes (and diesel).

train to glasgow, get a car seat in glasgow, collect car, drive.

Estates are def where I'm at.
Kids. Dogs. Bikes. Cases.
Rocket launcher between the front seats.

i'd go car all the way. less faff sorting the car in glasgow and shoving everything onto a train. plus if you leave at the right time, everyone else will be asleep in the car and you get some lovely alone time.

@Chalfie if you go car all the way. Stop at Tebay Services. Sweet scotch eggs and overpriced deli cheeses abound + a gaggle of Indian running ducks.

I live just outside Glasgow and have done a South (Glastonbury) to North drive many times. It's generally fine once you get past Birmingham.
