I really dislike the thing they do where the bottom of the rear quarter window lines up with the top of the rear winscreen.
Agree. They have done some butt ugly shit, but that's part of it.
Could not find a decent pic of the Zagato Raptor concept (Munting)
Did just turn this up randomly tho. Not seen before. Quite like.
(This ain't Zagato, but it does shit on a Zonda somewhat IMO)

It does seem like a very good system of setting speeding fines, although of course its effectiveness is not proven yet. It'll be interesting to see an evaluation some years down the line.

I am attempting the head on the MG tomorrow.
Pull rad and thermostat, flush block, drop oil. Hoses off. Carbs/manifold/exhaust off. Rocker cover off. Undo nuts, remove rocker arm then BANG, we are in.
It will be that easy, too.
Sam - can your man crack test the head? I have a good spare if this one is FUBARed, but this one is converted to ULP, so would rather use it, if poss. I will clean them up.
Lemme know if you want your gadgets this weekend, too.

I canna meet up this weekend, out on the bike all day Saturday, out all day playing golf Sunday, and round the in-laws Monday.
He's got the gear to do a leakdown test, but that requires the head/engine complete. It uses compressed air to check for leakage past valves, through the gasket, through a crack in the block, etc.
Stick a leaded head on it anyway. There's a garage in Goudhurst that sells leaded petrol at £2 a litre...

I think I will have some magic sprinkled on the spare one if this one is ruuted.
£300 for to convert and gasflow. Hopefully it isn't cracked.

Fingers crossed. Remember to put in the pushrods back in the same way you pulled them out. Stick them through a piece of cardboard to keep them in order, like this.
(apols if you knew that already)
