Carbon lorraine might make a pad for my APs but so far it seems ferodo or mintex and not much else
also have to use the AP discs (at £220 a piece!)

What can't you recommend?

Pagid make pads for AP fitment, I think. I need to know for the future for the Volvo.

Was the z4m coupe the only one that got that old m3 engine? Or were there others. Fancy one ot those. Can't afford z4m now, about two years late to the party. Last one I saw was asking £12k and was not far off what I'd call a parts car

So where do you guys look for cheap cars. Looking for friends (fucking nightmare) and is a nightmare as they don't want a diesel but ved seems to be an issue, There is also the size issue as the car will be in a smallish garage. Last car was an astra so nothing longer than that. Nothing seems to be coming up via the trade that is viable.
Save me from the hell of driving round london looking at overpriced shite.

Check out a couple of car supermarkets? I found them a better bet than wasting time looking at crap private sales.
-

Wholesalers? I'm with @ChasnotRobert... When looking for someone else I'd rather a dealers lot full of cars. Having just done this for my sister in law, driving around to various private sellers is a pain.

If it's cheap shitters then gumtree and facebook marketplace seem to be a treasure trove.
-
• #44213
Ah forgot facebook market place.
Gumtree seems a bit wierd, or should that be people on gumtree are a bit wierd. Adverts for cars that are sold. No response to calls or emails. Meeting in strange places, like a cemetary... Pubs, petrol stations, supermarket carparks fine but cemetary with no real car parks.
Even 3 differing dealers was just odd. Cars at the wrong price, cars with service history that can't be found, one car looked like it had a failed head gasket as there was oil throth in the water tank.
One trader said that with the dealer scrappage schemes the number of decent cars about has dropped, as the scrappage trade price is way higher that the cars value.

Anyone know a table with these dimensions will fit in the back of an Audi A4 estate?
Length 163cm
Width 112cm
Hieght 73cmIdk why everyone is so covert about car dimensions. Litre capacity is all over the Internet, but the numbers for what you can actually get in are nowhere to be found.
Bit of an ask, but I don't suppose anyone has a medium estate or van I could borrow next weekend?

• #44221
Suggests it may be too narrow / short
-
• #44222
The length on that image threw me as I assumed it isn't with folded down seats or not.
But you're right I totally missed the width.
-
• #44223
Yeah but you take the legs off and rotate it, you don't put it in flat. Should fit if you can get another 60cm with the seats down
-
• #44224
Unfortunately the legs don't come off.
Which I find really hard to believe... But it's what I've been told.
-

Legs always come off (with a saw...), might not be straightforward to put back on again!
In fact how do you make a table which has legs that don’t come off?! Carved out of a solid bit of wood? Ask for a pic of underneath?
I can't recommend doing this having done it and sheared wheel studs and had the wheel eject itself down the road
