  • Just about any new estate.

    Here's the problem:

"How about the Skoda Octavia Estate, lets look at that, ok it's fairly cheap I'll just ask for a quote and, oh - hang on, there's a fast version, and it'd be silly not to get the larger wheels and the active suspension and - ah, it's £800 a month now".

  • Does it have to be brand new? Something with a a few thousand miles on it will save a ton but still has warranty.

  • 15yo rs6 it is then

  • 15yo rs6 it is then

This is the other problem. I look at a new 2 litre Skoda, I look at the price paid over 3 years, then I can't help but look at what that money would buy in the 15 year old RS6 mould.

This is why I've ended up with a permanent search for a 550i M Sport Touring on eBay.

  • Swear I saw a panamera wagon (sorry estate cars, "shooting brrake") the other day, and thought that would be perfect

  • Wheat a great car. 3-spokes ftw.

  • Why prioritise performance in an estate, especially when you have a 911 specced to your exact standards? Isn't a sporty estate a compromise that someone who doesn't have space in their life for a proper performance car needs to make?

My 2.0l v90 starts every time, has tonnes of space, carries bikes, has an interior you want to spend time in, leaves you feeling as fresh as a daisy after an 8 hour drive, and has just enough oomph to comfortably get up to speed when I enter the motorway and keep me at 90mph (if I was on the autobahn) for the duration.

  • Isn't a slow estate a compromise someone who doesn't have enough money for lots and lots of petrol and any number of expensive replacement parts needs to make?

  • I'm just here for the Porsche paint update.

  • anyone bought a car on the continent and brought it back? Whats that like in terms of paperwork?

going to germany in a couple of weeks, what happens if i see a lovely ex-army van?

  • Isn't an estate just a car for someone who doesn't own a Range Rover?

  • I don’t own any red trousers, ruling out a Range Rover and/or Aston

  • Pity. My wife's L322 4.4 V8 is about to go on the market.

(It's being replaced by an uber sensible V90 diesel).

  • V90 T8.

do that then post picture of the paint job

  • You have a convertible 911 so you must have some red braces. That gains you entry into the Range Rover club.

  • Kenmeri 76' Skyline.

  • Isn’t driving just for those without a driver?

  • Can anyone on here laser scan an item and create a CAD file from said scan?

    It's a lifter carrier.

  • Anyone had experience of buying a cat d car? Are they a ball ache to insure?

  • Guy nearby used to have a mint black one and a lotus carlton, also black. Both sleepers worth something back in early 00s but now serious £££ for the carlton I think. Haven't even seen a regular one for donkeys, and prob over ten years for a gsi3000

  • I've given up on my Micra and this spacious and dented wonder has taken its place. 210.000km, 1 year 'til MOT, several owners (all smokers) and no history. £200. So roomy.

  • No experience of buying one but seen plenty of Cat C's and D's through the trade. Unless it's something rare or incredibly cheap I've never seen the appeal of buying something that has been stuck back together. No matter how minor the damage, I can't get it out of my head that it has an insurance classificiation for a reason.

What are you looking to buy?
