Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

This is an issue I have with mine - but that’s a knock on effect of the geometry changes and only having one adjustable steering arm.

Are all the bushes ok? Is the rideheight / caster / camber the same side to side?

The dealer offered me £500 for my car- the car on which I have spent over £2,000 with that dealer in the past two months.

Fuck the dealer.

No, but they've put the chances of me buying a new car from them to a very low figure.

What gets me is that they sent me the "we want to give you an exceptional price for your car" completely unsolicited- and then offered 25% of what I've spent with them recently.

The bill I paid to pick the car up from the recent work (which triggered the email) was £650.

Ha! Christ, that's unbelievable. Surely he'd have realised that would only negatively impact the relationship...

Are all the mounting points for the front suspension and steering all square and where they are meant to be? Sounds like you have the painful task of removing everything and reinstalling just to make sure. Not that I have any idea what I'm talking about.

A good geo place would likely be able to diagnose without stripping everything.

Ah. Just a spam message. Makes sense now. Because your car is a bit specialist I fell for it and thought it was real.

Turns out I am the sort of idiot that will probably fall for a dodgy email scam one day.

It's the only email of its type that the service team had ever seen, however.
